Her heart changes with each passing second…with each day gone by; thanks to his constant promises which either maker her beam with happiness or down her in sorrow. She doesn't understand why she allows herself to be lured by him. After she lost it all; her status as a powerful original… why does she still remain glued to his side?
He's always there for her when she needs him. Yet when she needs him the most his phone is off…. Maybe she's over thinking it. Maybe he was consoling Davina. Why does he greet her with a deadpan expression? His voice lacks the usual tone of adoration.
Maybe he's lost interest in her... he doesn't have time for their relationship anymore. Maybe Cami or Gia is clouding his judgment. This is it! This is how their story ends. A sad story with a sad ending.
Her heart screams at him. Pleas for him to tell it the truth. Did he even love her like he stated? She growing tired of the push and pull of the game they play. The war isn't helping these emotions that dwell in her worn out heart.
She shouldn't look toward him… stop looking his way… he seems to stress himself as it is. With her problems…or with Davina shutting herself off from the world... To the war… he's looking elsewhere. Maybe the thrill is gone. She feels like she's become the nagging wife he tries to avoid.
Anxious and wanting an outlet away from her searching for something away from her. Sure he assumes his presence is enough to keep her happy. At one point that was true.. But now not so much; it only causes her pain. He doesn't know her heart at all.
It's time to move forward erasing all the times they spent together. Her heart doesn't want to… but it has to be done. How odd that he will always have that air of mystery to him that she'll always love. Truth be told this story wasn't about love it was about comfort of the past.
