Luke smoothly arced his X-Wing fighter away from Dagobah, in a hurry to rendezvous with the fleet. He slipped into hyperspace with the flip of a switch, settling in for the long, silent ride.

My training is incomplete. I swore to Master Yoda I would return... and I did, but he was in no position to train me longer. Though, he did say that a confrontation with Darth Vader would complete my training.

Luke shook his head. But Vader is my father, how could I do that? Ben had told me he had been killed in the Clone Wars, obviously lying to try and protect me from some perceived threat. And that line about him telling the truth from a certain point of view. Sure, maybe he was right, but does that make him any more right in his actions?

He sighed as R2 beeped him a question. "Yes, R2, I'm fine... just thinking."

So now what do I have? The Rebellion, of course. Then Han, and Chewie. There's R2. And then there's Leia.

He sat bolt upright suddenly. Leia! Wait a minute... Leia is my sister He coughed once. But that means, on the Death Star...

He shook his head, almost not wanting to remember. We kissed... that was the first time anyone had done that to me. She said for luck, though I have a feeling we both got some sense of enjoyment out of it. And then her near me while recovering on Hoth, and after my first meeting with Darth Vader.

He blushed, glad for the solitude for once. And all those dreams...

He leaned back, hoping to rid his mind of those images, knowing it was impossible for anything to develop between them anymore. He sighed.

She always cared more for Han anyway...
