It's Christmas and Ran found this package outside her house. She picked it up and turned out to be a present for her. It's a red long winter coat, in a perfect size for her, along with a box of chocolate. And inside the present bag, she found a letter. Written with a very familiar hand-writing...
"Dear Ran,
I'm sorry,
I've made you waited for this long,
And still, I can't meet you now..
We still have to wait for sometimes until I can see you again..
I didn't want this..
But fate says so.
We can't do anything about it, can we?
Ran,
I just want you to know,
I'll be there for you,
I'm always there for you..
Even though we can't meet each other face to face..
But you're in my heart, and I'm in yours...
Ran,
Do you know, I have a dream in my sleep..
We'll be together one day..
And this dream doesn't only come once,
This dream comes every night.
I think it means that's going to happened,

Ran could feel her heart melting.
'I'll wait for you, Shinichi. I believe you.' she wishpered, hoping Shinichi could hear it somewhere.
"Ran-neechan? what are you doing outside?" a little boy asked in surprise, because Ran didn't come in to her house and just standing there for quite a long time.
"Oh, umm, nothing. Let's go inside, Conan." She took the groceries and went inside.
"Dear Shinichi,
I don't know whether you have time to read this short letter or not,
I just thought because you sent me letter,
I should reply it with a letter too.
Shinichi,
I want you to know that I believe in you.
Please remember that.
And thank you for dreaming about me,
I'm dreaming about you as well.
Anyway, I love the coat, I really do.
Thank you so much.

Conan read the letter with an aching heart.
"Thank you for the backpack, Ran. And thanks for waiting. We'll be together one day. i promise." he whispered as wished the wind would blow his sentence to her ears.
