Leave me alone
Why did you kill one more heart tonight?
Don't you need someone to hold you tight?
Who will love you like I love? Who will hold you like I hold?
Kind of love that you will never find.
She caught herself looking for his eyes among the crowd. Things were not the same anymore, a small, but essential part of them had been taken... And they were the ones to blame.
Maybe she felt as much as him, the lack of that murder love, that used to fondle them in a soft way during stormy days. The desperate meetings, the tight embraces, the mixed scents, the unexplainable desire.
They needed and repudiated each other at the same time, in an indescribable way. It was an inhuman and fierce desire, that feed from the suffering and the forbidden; causing affliction and inciting the passion, inciting them to meet more and more.
They weren't soul mates, weren't allowed to stay together... And more than this, the destiny would never keep them together. None of them was up to changing or dealing with severe consequences. He would always have malice in his smiles, sarcasm in his words and venom in his lips.
But she didn't care. She had turned immune at his strikes. She didn't let herself be eaten away everytime she had hear heart hit, or her pride hurt. She had learned to have him, turned addicted to his touch, and knew that he was also addicted in touching her.
They were like each other's drugs. Never would do any good, just caused spasms of pleasure and desire, making them high just by the fact of being close one to another.
It was a different love, but it still was love. It didn't bring any happiness, just kept them satisfied by being together, consuming them little by little. It didn't know how to be soft or tender. It ignored the sweetness and was terribly frank.
With a sore sincerity, made sure to affirm to both on each meeting, that was going to kill them yet... But didn't mind on trying to separate them. It was a sadistic love.
He liked to have her, to violate all that ingenuity, to infringe the rules that were imposed... And she liked to play with what could not be hers, to ruin all that arrogance and to hear him saying she was unique.
They would never find someone to replace the other, but would never stay together. They suffered with a mute conformism, a sorrowful secret... Reason would never be put over passion, they would always follow their instincts and end up finding each other.
When she lifted her almond eyes from her untouched plate and found him on the table further ahead, she risked a sore smile, without waiting for another in return. It would always be like that: in the presence of others, the mask of indifference was kept. She watched him running his hands through the platinum hair, of a softness so well known by her, and sighed.
A tired and afflicted sigh. She knew that later she would look for him and would be looked back.
It would be always like that: a cycle. No matter how much their minds insistently screamed at them to stop, they would simply keep going.
You just leave me alone, I don't want to cry, leave me alone, alone.
Leave me alone – Arsenium.

Hello all! I hope everybody enjoyed this fanfic… First of all, I have some things to say: this is my first fic with this couple, and also my first fic in English (yeah, English is not my main language).
This was supposed to be an one-shot, but I made more chapters, turning this one a prologue… So, if somebody liked this fic please let me know, because then I'll continue posting it! Else, it's gonna stay as a shortfic x.x.
Before I forget, I wanna say thanks to Bella, for helping me with the translation and having lots of patience, and Dante.
Well, I think that's all…
