Jim Gordon walked at a fast pace into the holding tank in MCU where the Joker was being held. "Stand away! All of you. I don't want anything for his Mob lawyer to use, you understand?" He yelled at all of the cops who were in the room.
Mayor Garcia walked into the room with an eyebrow raised. "Back from the dead." He said to Gordon with a sarcastic undertone.
"I, uh… couldn't risk my family's safety." Gordon told him.
The mayor turned towards the Joker. "What do we got?"
"Nothing." Gordon said. "No matches on prints, DNA, dental. Clothing is custom, no labels. Nothing in his pockets but knives and lint." He continued. "No name. No other alias."
"Go home Gordon. The clown'll keep till morning. Go get some rest. You're gonna need it. Tomorrow you take the big job. You don't have any say in the matter. Commissioner Gordon." Mayor Garcia announced, shaking Gordon's hand, and all the officers in the room applauded including the Joker.
From behind Gordon and Mayor Garcia they heard sounds of a commotion. "Let me in!" A female voice shouted. "I have some information for Lieutenant Gordon."
Gordon turned around at the mention of his name. "Let her in." He said to the people holding her back. I want to hear what she says."
The two cops holding her back let her go and she straightened herself out. "Thank you." She walked up to Gordon and Mayor Garcia, not intimidated. "Lieutenant Gordon, Mayor." She said politely and turned to the Joker. "Joker." She said with a hiss.
"Penny so nice to see you." The Joker said coyly.
"Oh shut up." She said harshly to him and then turned back towards Mayor Garcia and Gordon. "I'm sorry my name is Penelope Napier. Thank you for seeing me Lieutenant."
Gordon looked at her with a shocked expression on his face. "It's Commissioner and of course, what can I help you with? You have me a little curious."
She nodded. "Congratulations, Commissioner. I know the identity of the Joker, and I will tell you anything you want to know." She told him.
"It's nice to you're alive and well Penny, especially after that little fall you had." Joker interrupted her.
"Little fall?" She yelled at him. "You threw me out of a, what 100 story window, you pompous asshole."
"Miss. Napier!" Gordon yelled at her. "What is the information you have?"
"Right." She said shaking her head stupidly. "His name is Jack Napier and he is unfortunately, my brother." She paused for a moment. "I realize it's late Commissioner Gordon and that you have had a long day. Why don't you give me a call at any time and I'll be here." She and handed him a business card and then started to walk out.
"Miss Napier! Thank you, and you will be expecting the phone call." He said reassuringly. She nodded and walked out of the room and when she did Gordon looked down at the business card and read, 'Penelope Napier, Personal Assistant to Bruce Wayne, Wayne Enterprises'. He looked up at the Mayor wide eyed and handed him the card.
Mayor Garcia looked at it and then chuckled. "That's one hell of a business card."
