Wufei
One human life is but an instant in time,
I learnt this lesson through meaningless war,
I was just a close minded scholar before.
I dove in my books seeking justice and reason,
I ignored every changing season.
I married so young, I love her so dear,
I thought I had nothing to fear.
But one morning she died, my heavenly muse,
I was engulfed in my books, I late heard the news.
She died during battle, a fight to the end,
My heart, it ached bit it slowly will mend.
So I took off my glasses and tied back my hair,
I took Gundam Shenlong while overwhelmed by despair.
I started a journey and fought the Eve wars,
Wars full of injustice and a large lack of laws.
Then in the midst of dark space,
I met a rose of wild grace.
I pushed him away, consumed by my grief,
Then felt him caress and relax my tanned cheek.
I stared to his eyes,
His sea, sky blue eyes, so enchanting and deep as the depths of the sea,
They looked so crystal and beautiful to me.
He smiled like an angel, come to take me away,
Away from death and injustice with wars fiery spray.
And for once in this time, I felt so willing to mend,
This general I met will be here.
Until the end.
