The Secrets Out
"Grae, GRAE" Lily Evans' voice called out behind me. I turned around to greet her, then realised her face was flushed.
"Sirius is spillin' the beans, come on, hurry up were going to miss it!!"
She started pulling me back up the corridor of Hogwarts Castle and up onto the 5th floor corridor.
"What's he tellin?" I panted as we reached the corridor, running past other students of various houses.
"Who he like's, we bugged him so much about it that he's tellin. He said to me that he was only going to tell selected people . . . James, Remus, you know the crowd. Come on I've got to find Amanda, do you know where she is?" she said this all very fast, her cheeks almost the same colour as her hair, which was saying something.
"Charms I think, no wait there she is . . . wow!"
Amanda was kneeling in the middle of the corridor; James Potter, Remus Lupin, Peter Pettigrew and Sirius Black were there also. Remus had the look of a beetroot and Amanda was crying. The other boys were shocked at what ever had happened. Sirius on the other hand was in a dead faint on the floor, everyone just left him.
"Amanda, Amanda what's wrong?" I said running up to her and falling down next to her. She through her arms around me and started bawling into my shoulder.
"Oh damn it I missed it!!!!!" Lily said disappointedly.
"James, what happened? I asked him
"Wake him up and ask him yourself" his face was a mask of disgust.
"Lily could you?!"
"Sure" She bent down and fully backhanded Sirius' face (A/N: Poor Siri!! that woulda hurt!! ^___^)
"Wha . . . Why does my cheek hurt so much . . ." his eyes travelled from face to face, finally landing on Remus . . .
"There he goes again!" Peter sighed "Do it again Lily."
Before she could, Lupin bent down to kneel beside the raven-haired teenager and kissed him on the lips, that certainly woke him up.
What a wake up call. I finally understood what had happened. Amanda's crying on my shoulder, Sirius on the floor, James and Peter's disgust, "Your gay?!? Lupin . . .you're gay!" I asked. Amanda somehow cried even harder into my shoulder.
"I've only just realised my love for dear Black here," He said not looking at anyone in fact he had his eyes closed. "Ever since 3rd year I've had feelings for him, I never knew that it would turn out like this and that he returned my love." With that he looked at Sirius and fell quite.
"Well, I'm going to leave right now," James said as a green tinge crept up his face, "If you want me I'll be in the toilets . . . I think I'm going to be sick." With that he ran off with a hand over his mouth. Lily watched longingly as he ran.
"Amanda, would you shut up for a bit and tell me what's wrong?!" I snapped at her.
Amanda's crying went down for a level as she replied between tears "Haven't you guessed by now?"
"Remus, she like's Remus" came Peter's squeaky voice quietly.
"What!?!" Remus said quietly now looking at Amanda's tear streaked face that was now lifted from my shoulder, a quietly watching Sirius in his arms.
"YOU HEARD HIM!" Amanda shrieked, not crying any more.
"Amanda settle d . . ." Peter started
"I WILL NOT SETTLE DOWN!! WHEN YOU JUST GO AND BLURT THAT OUT ESPECIALLY WHEN HE IS HERE!!
