I look at the people who are passing by with umbrellas, while I sit on this bench.

Shiro- "..."

Then a young lady came by and cover me from the rain with her umbrella. She is an average height for a girl, her hair is strawberry blonde shoulder-length hair with loose bangs, decorated with a cherry blossom hair clip on the side of her head. Her eyes are purple Tareme-style downward slanted. She is also wearing a high school uniform that is a pink cardigan sweater, white skirt, white over knee sock and brown shoes.

?- "*Smile*"

She gave me a smile. A fake one in fact. Although I didn't say anything.

Shiro- "..."

?- "Mister, do you believe when you die you go to another dimension?"

Shiro- "(Now that's random)"

Shiro- "...Why are you asking that to a total stranger like me young lady?"

She's thinking and rise her hand up as she got something.

I didn't get any notification on my phone that my old client or a new client wanted to hire me to kill someone or do something ...unless this young lady is a spy from the police station and it's investigating me right now...no let' act normal for now)"

I start laughing because I think that's normal.

Shiro- "Hahaha...notting...anyway young lady do you know who are you talking to?"

?- "Yes, a hitman~"

Shiro- "!?"

Shiro- "(She knows what my job is, then she a spy?!)

But I realized

Shiro- "(Wait if she knows already, she could have called the polices and I would already be arrested a long time ago)"

I stood up as she steps away.

Shiro- "I don't know how you figure out my job even I tighten it up with max security few weeks ago but what I do know (A lie) is why you came here for"

Shiro- "(I will pretend she a client, to know what she is)"

Shiro- "Though it will cost yeah"

?- "Here you go"

She gave me her bag. I open it and It's filled with tons of cash.

Shiro- "(Holy shit?! She's a new client, she's hiring me for a job. What the fuck)"

Shiro- "(But I didn't get any notification about this unless one of my old clients told her about me!)"

Shiro- "(Ohhh someone's gonna die today, sharing information about me or snitching who I am or my job is a no, no on my rules)"

Shiro- "(But first let's see, what type of job this new client wants me to do!"

?- "So is that enough?"

I look inside the bag and eyeballing how much is in there.

Shiro- "(Looks like It's enough already)"

Shiro- "Yeah"

?- "Then I would like to give you a small job to do mister."

?- "Please kill me"

Shiro- "..."

Shiro- "(What? She's hiring me to kill herself, man I want to laugh so bad right now)

Shiro- "(Though the more I look at her, the more I understand why)"

Shiro- (Her eyes are lifeless, this girl... has been through a lot...I can tell because I used to have those eyes)"

It was a brief of silent, I look to my surroundings and there aren't any people anymore, which I could do this young lady her job right now but I decided to talk a little bit.

Shiro- "Can't do it yourself?"

?- "...Yes, but a man like you who's capable of doing any job for exchange of money, I will let you do it instead"

Shiro- "(Gosh just admit that you're too scared to do it)"

Shiro- "(But anyway, life is too precious to give up, so let's see if I could change her mind.)"

I looked at her straight in the face.

Shiro- "So before that, young lady let me answer your question you gave me earlier"

Shiro- "I don't believe there would be another dimension after you die. Even if you have a really unhappy life"

?- "..."

Shiro- "I don't know what happens to you, or your past but I don't recommend killing yourself because of it."

?- "Shut up….I gave you the money, why are you trying to convince me to stop."

Shiro- "(Look's like she knows what I'm doing, alright let's continue)"

Shiro- "Because after a harsh rain, there's always be a beautiful rainbow"

Shiro- "And I know how it feels like, you just wanted to kill yourself"

?- "..."

Shiro- "...You know, this town is rotten."

Shiro- "Like the town's mayor is a useless piece of trash that provoked a terrorist. Now look what happens, half of this town became very dangerous because a terrorist group are roaming around and just start killing or slaving people"

Shiro- "Plus he's not even trying to fix it by the looks of it"

Shiro- "Like seriously, if there's a client with tons of tons of money and the job is killing him, I will gladly accept that"

?- "Could you just kill me, mister!"

Shiro- "..."

Shiro- "(Looks like I can't convince her, I guess I got no choice but to do it)"

Shiro- "Alright"

I grab my suppressor pistol and I pointed on her forehead. Before I shoot she closed her eyes and her body start to shake as tears started to falls down on her face. It made me think the reason why she couldn't do it herself because she still thinks a miracle will happen to her unhappy life or again she just scared to do it.

Shiro- "(This is seriously making me pity her…)"

I rise the gun up the sky and shoot.

*Bang…*

?- "?!"

Shiro- "..."

I put away the gun. She opens her eyes and realized that I didn't do the job she's asking me too.

?- "W-Why...Why didn't you shoot me!"

Shiro- "Shut up, I'm taking you with me"

?- "Eh-"

I karate chop the back of her neck as she rights away fall unconsciously. Of course, I catch her after that.

Shiro- "Now let's head back home, I have to show this girl, it's too precious to give up on life. Just like Father Tomas did to me from the past"

For a countless of trial and error, 3 weeks later I successfully did it, I made her not to give up on life just like Father Tomas did to me when I was just a kid. Although her reason to keep on living is me and her family back at home. I don't know why she made me one of the reasons to keep on living but maybe it's because I saved her life. Well whatever, as long she has that reason I guess I don't have to worried about her anymore.

Also while I was doing that, I learn much about this girl background. Her name is Cocoa Hoto she went to this town to attend her new high school life. While she does so, she got bullied on school a lot, even almost getting raped by one of the male teachers. This continued to the point where she just thinks ending her life would be better. The cash she gave me was her parent's money, that was sent to her to have an easy life here but as you already know she doesn't. She saves it up till that day where she gave me that money, so I could end her life.

Lastly, she found out I'm a hitman for my old client. I was thinking of silencing him before but I change my mind and I let him off the hook for now.

Overall this girl became optimistic, a little bit mature, full of excitement with a bubbly disposition and strong mentality after I made her not to give up on life. To think a girl like this became the one I remember with lifeless eyes and wants to die so badly.

One more thing, she's now living with me because she got nowhere to go too because the day where she decided to make me, kill her, is the day where she left her apartment and told the owner she's not coming back. Plus she sold all her stuff just to make more money for me to accept her job but not to worry, I reused that money to buy her clothes and other stuff she needs.

Night

While I was reading a newspaper on my couch, Cocoa came to bother me once again.

Shiro- "..."

Cocoa- "Shiroooo!"

Shiro- "What is it, kid?"

Cocoa- "Don't call me a kid!"

Shiro- "Then the big kid, how about that?"

She pouts.

Cocoa- "That's still the same thing!"

Shiro- "Hahaha...so what do you want?"

Cocoa- "I want to be a hitman just like you!"

Shiro- "?!...(What?!)"

That took me by surprise that she just bluntly said that.

Shiro- "...You're too early for that plus this job is very dangerous."

Cocoa- "I don't care! I want to fight alongside you"

I blushed.

Shiro- "...Y-You still have to go school"

Cocoa- "No! I don't want to go school and...how can you say that when you already know what happens to me there"

Shiro- "(Shit….)"

Shiro- "My bad, I wasn't thinking"

Cocoa- "..."

I gave up and decided to teach her to make her feel better.

Shiro- "Fine, I will teach you how to be a hitman, just like me"

Cocoa- "You mean it?!"

I smiled

Shiro- "(Seeing her happy like that also makes me very happy, heh I'm I getting too fond of her already? I don't know.)"

Shiro- "Plus I will also be going with you to make sure no one is going to bully you ever"

Cocoa- "Eh?"

Shiro- "(I'm gonna tell her huh)"

Shiro- "Oh you don't know? I'm still 17. So I could enroll myself in your school"

Cocoa- "EHHHH?! B-b-but you look like around 20s!"

Shiro- "Yeah! isn't it perfect that I look like this, haha I can pretty much lie about my age every time"

Cocoa- "Then those that also mean you never went to school before?"

Shiro- "I did once, but I drop out and did homeschool instead."

Shiro- "Also keep it a secret because my age is very privately"

She nods.

Shiro- "So what about it? I know you hate school because of the people there but since I'm attending school with you and also teaching you how to be a hitman, just like me would you accept this selfish condition of mines?"

Cocoa- "*Mutter* School with Shiro..."

She blushed.

Shiro- "(Well she look's excited, plus what is she muttering about)"

Cocoa- "Okay!"

Shiro- "Alright that's good"

Shiro- "Anyway I have to make us some dinner, is there any specific food that you would like Cocoa?"

Cocoa- "Nope I will eat anything that you cook Shiro~"

I smiled since she always says that.

Shiro- "Okay, I guess I will make curry today"

Cocoa- "Yay curry!"

Our life together continues.
