It was a clear night with no clouds, but however a full moon, which always meant trouble for two certain people, Jet and Kitsumi, who were not exactly what anyone would call human, they were both in their human forms to maintain cover however. "Jet, I don't like the idea of this. Its suicidal, and we can't die, especially not tonight." Kitsumi said to Jet in a low voice, she had light skin, reddish-blonde hair, blue eyes, and usually was in the preferred state of most kitsune: a hybrid of fox and human.
"I know Kit, but it has to be the night they're coming. They don't know it, but they are." Jet said in a mysterious tone. Jet had blue hair with a silver streak in it; had blue eyes, light skin, and was also a kitsune.
"And Jet, are you even sure who these people are? We could be bringing dead bodies over for all anyone cares! Then this could fail!" Kitsumi screamed, catching herself at the last second.
"This new system Slik made, the Parallel InterDimensional Transport doesn't bring dead bodies, and it would simply shut down if there were any. Slik may be crazy, but he knows what he's doing." Jet countered at the precise moment Slik came down the street.
Slik had light brown skin, black hair with a streak of white in it, green eyes, and he was human.
"As long as you can find the parrot, therefore your argument is invalid." Slik said. "So for the sake of randomness, let's all do the spherical chicken dance and be very hungry for beef nuggets."
That's when the sky flashed, and several figures tumbled out, causing all that could go wrong not to go wrong. The figures came out of the portal completely, with only one visible entirely, he had armor over his clothes and silver hair; the other people were all too hidden in the shadows to be seen clearly. "Guess we'll have to examine the appearances and government records later." Said Jet "For now, let's get to the base, and Slik," said Jet. "This totally worked." Then Jet and Kitsumi began to change their appearances…
