The sun set slowly over Feudal Japan. The orange light of the dying sun cast small, happy shadows over the fields which had recently been graced a surplus of crops. The trees swayed lightly in the warm breeze that swept through the village of Kaede. Kagome, Inuyasha, Shippo, Sango, Miroku and Kirara sat in front of the hut which belonged to the elderly priestess. A small fire burned and licked at the sticks and kindling which they threw to it every now and then. 12 fish were placed over the warm flames to cook.
"Kagome," Sango said to get the attention of her friend. Kagome looked over to her, showing her the attention she held for her demon slayer friend, "I was wondering if you and Shippo would like to join me for a bath after we eat." She blushed slightly for it was usually Kagome who asked for someone to bathe with. She also knew what the perverted monk newly known as her fiancée was thinking about the bath.
"I would love to, Sango. Shippo, are you up to a bath?" Kagome asked, turning to the young fox who sat next to her.
"Yes, thank you, Sango. That'd be great." He said and looked maliciously at Miroku who looked depressed and jealous.
"How come Shippo get to bathe with Kagome?!" Inuyasha snapped, jealously yelling Miroku's thoughts, though the monks thoughts were more geared toward the demon huntress, not the priestess from the future. Kagome turned and looked thoughtfully at the usually hidden dog hanyou.
"BECAUSE I'M A LITTLE BOY, NOT A PERVERT LIKE YOU AND THE MONK." Shippo said. He enjoyed the baths with the ladies as well and in fact, he was a pervert, but never allowed it to show. He had always dreaded the day when he'd be too old and considered a pervert like the monk and half demon.
"SO? I want a chance to actually bathe with Sango and not be considered a pervert because the only way I get to admire her full beauty is if I spy because you are always there to 'protect' them when you're staring too because you know how beautiful they are!" Sango blushed a dark, dark red. Kagome was enjoying herself and was resisting going through her bag for popcorn.
"I do know how beautiful they are, but I, unlike you, do not stare! I'm a good boy!"
"Right, like we are supposed to believe that!" Inuyasha yelled.
"Perverts…" Shippo mumbled.
"I'm not a pervert, he is!" Inuyasha yelled, pointing at Miroku.
"I beg your pardon?"
"YOU…ARE…A…HENTAI…MONK…" He said again. Miroku tackled Inuyasha and began hitting him like mad.
"Shouldn't we stop them?" Sango asked.
"We could always go take a bath." Kagome said. Sango nodded, they gathered their things, grabbed 6 fish, enough for the 3 girls (Kagome, Sango and Kirara) and left. It was almost an hour before the guys noticed and Kaede had to tell them. Needless to say, the girls had the most relaxing bath ever.
