(when you think about it, being sealed away for the better part of three hundred years other than to fight and steal is sort of depressing. I wanted to try out a new format.)
disclaimer: don't own d n angel.
it wasn't a choice
that made it
happen
it just happened
by
f a t e.
.
.
knowing that the red haired
t a m e r would forgive him
in an instant (Why wouldn't
I f o r g i v e you?) was the
thing that made this so
h a r d. he knows that
the child hears him whisper
in his sleep
(sorrysorrysorry...)
that he would be forgiven
in so little time but he can't
ask for
forgiveness because he
doesn't simply deserve it.
he's done so many things
yet his tamer can simply
s m i l e at him and say
"I forgive you."
he doesn't know how his
everything can look at him
because he's so t a i n ted.
"i forgive you."
why doesn't he feel forgiven?
(a facade and a lie)
.
.
he doesn't understand why
he views himself as a m o n s t e r
something that shouldn't be
here. (sorrysorrysorry) he
w h i s p e r s in his sleep and he-
himself doesn't understand
why he wants to fall. when
the other one, brother, takes over
he is sure to say in a soft voice
to think in a soft voice
"Be s a f e." as a side note he
whispers something,
(i forgive you) he doesn't k n o w
why the dark starts to sob.
but really, what is there to
u n d e r s t a n d?
(why wouldn't I forgive you?)
.
.
he's in a strange world of these
half wanted memories
and he feels so so g u i l t y
[t a i n t e d]
he doesn't want to leave
no one can see him here
no one can see the taint
but he knows the red child
(what is t a m e r ?) is
there and he's risking it
to try to find him. so
he let's himself be found
and here's his t a m e r ' s
reply of "(i forgive you...)
his tamer cannot forgive him
should not forgive him
because he has committed all
the s i n s there are, and he's so
t a i n t e d.
(he's been lying for a while)
.
.
the t a m e r feels restless again
as he hears his -'s voice.
"r e s t, you need rest."
no he doesn't need rest
he's sick of staying here
and not doing anything at
a l l.
he can see the stars and it
makes him feel awful,
horrible horrible horrible
because his - wants to
go there and he can't.
can he blame him though?
he would want to die after
three hundred years
of dreams while sealed
d e s t r o y e d houses
and lost loves, of
nightmares that would make
him scream.
horror lurks in sleep
no wonder he never sleeps
he just waits
for a relief that won't c o m e
For his - is
t r a p p e d in a game of
cat and mouse for eternity.
(He's never looked in his
dreams again)
.
.
All that's left is a smile
and a hope, that one day
the g a m e will end
(it still hasn't.)
.
.
"Daisuke... I don't deserve forgiveness."
(how will he be able to live
when he can't stand on his
own two feet and forgive himself?)
fin.
