I hated what they did to Erin so I have to end it another way. No deaths.
I am quite a sloppy teary mess as I write this. So gimme a review as I did not go through all these tears for nothing.
Either I am just really soppy or I did something right as I started crying half way through writing this and continued to cry pathetically until it was done and afterwards for quite a while as well. *Sniffle sniffle*but I think lack of sleep was another contributor to my fragility.
Synopsis: He had to save her, even if that meant he lost her as long as he saved her from herself and saved her from him. Made me cry, either I'm just pathetic or I did something right. Sad, very sad.
Save You
Vlad bolted upright, or tried. A loud crash indicated that once again, his coffin got in the way but that didn't matter.
That couldn't happen.
He would not let it happen.
He would not turn Erin into a vampire and watch her destroy herself with Malik at her side and he would not let Elizabetta destroy their family. He would not let it happen!
He climbed out of his coffin sweat coating his brow and ran to Erin's room.
She sat up at hearing his entrance.
"Erin," He murmured and her face scrunched up with worry at the sadness in his tone.
He leant against the wall and pulled his knees up to his chest, he had to stop it from happening to her!
She came and set next to him wrapping an arm round him, he flinched away from her touch.
"Erin, look into my eyes," She pulled back in surprise.
"What?"
Vlad bit his lip holding back the tears biting at his eyes. "Just do it, please," The despair in his voice must have got through to her as she obliged and stared into his eyes.
Another bout of tears tried to force its way out of Vlad's eyes and a lump formed in his throat.
He concentrated and murmured. "I'm sorry." His eyes glowed yellow and he resisted the urge to look away, to stop. I'm doing this because I love her! He told himself, he was saving her from becoming everything she didn't want to be and so it worked. Erin looked blankly into his eyes waiting for a command.
"Forget-" He choked on his words and nearly lost focus, but he had to do this, he had to save her from him. "Forget all about vampires, forget about slayers," A solitary tear ran down his cheek. "And most of all…" The tears began to flow freely down his pale face. "Forget me."
He stroked her blonde hair, she didn't respond, just stared like a zombie.
"Go and live your life," A small sob shook him. "Live a long and happy life away from me," He raised his hand to snap his fingers but before he did he stopped and pulled her into a hug whispering into her ear.
"Just remember that I always loved and will always love you," He pulled back, she didn't respond to it. Ignoring the tears soaking his collar he snapped his fingers.

Erin Foster woke up the next morning in her room with her family in London. She'd had the strangest dream about a boy, named Vladimir.
As she thought about she felt a dull ache in her chest, a tear slid down her cheek but she didn't know why.
She'd felt like she'd lost something special and she didn't know what Vlad.
She didn't know that far away a boy called Vladimir was crying with sobs shaking his form and his heart burning with pain.
She didn't know how much she was missed but it was better that she was safe from becoming a monster.
She didn't know how just what she'd been saved from.
And she never would.
