Link briskly walks across the bridge south of Castle Town after venturing forth to restock on supplies at Malo Mart. Although there is a branch of the market in Kakariko Village, the Hylian much prefers the prices at the strange (and somewhat terrifying) Castle Town location. As of this very moment, he's glad to finally be away from the crowds of the market square and the dreadful music of Malo Mart; yet wishes he could somehow escape the nuisance that has been with him since he originally awoke after his initial transformation.

Midna looks up to the hero from his shadow, bright smile on her gray-scale face. The imp breaks into song the first instant she is sure they are free of any and all ears that may overhear her.

"You are my hero
My only hero
You give me 'Hyas!'
And shades of Twilight
I'm in your shadow
So I stalk you
You're the bestest wolf boy to this day"

As soon as she completes the short ballad, the Hylian Midna is accompanying speaks through gritted teeth, coming to a stop at the end of the bridge.

"Midna."

Not a moment after her name leaves his lips, the imp pops out of Link's shadow wearing the bright pink frilly apron she forced the hero to buy for her. It was difficult for the Hylian to avoid stares in the plaza while carrying such an intense article of clothing so as soon as he could Link jumped into an alleyway in order to hand the cloth to the resident of his shadow. She donned much too eagerly, he thought.

"Senpai noticed me!" Midna squees in joy. Link glares at her in silence for the briefest time and the cursed Twili's eyes sparkle.

"Shut the hell up."

She nods frantically in reply, still floating in front of his face as she gives him an enthusiastic thumbs-up and an overly wide grin that bears her single fang. With a sigh Link pushes past her; walking further away from the town and loathing how he must put up with this obnoxious and childish companion by his side every second of every day.

The imp follows very closely – almost too closely – behind, composing yet another melody to sing once she believes the Hylian will forgive her for the outburst only a short while ago. After all, the happiness of her hero-senpai comes first because he is just so FABULIBS!

Oh, hi. If you aren't Phoenix, you may be wondering about this, right? Well, it's just one of those super absurd and nonsensical things that is a product of my mind. Thank you, mind. I appreciate that the stress from worrying about classes over the past few weeks in combination with de-stressing by playing Tri Force Heroes with my dearest Poofy PhoenixCaptain (and being absolutely outrageous in that game – popthorn was best Red ;_;) created something as wonderful as the above gibberish. (Yes, that misspelling of the final word in the story is intentional. :P)
