Worst Fear

Everyone in the seven had a fear. Jason has bricks to fear. Piper has love to fear. Leo has Annabeth to fear. Annabeth has spiders to fear. Frank has fire to fear. Hazel has her curse to fear. Percy's fear has changed. This is why.

It all started when Calypso left Leo. Leo pulled more pranks and his hair was on fire more often now. Then Percy had the idea to pair him up with the new girl, Emma. Good for them, but not for Percy.

Emma was a daughter of Hermes, meaning she liked to cause trouble.

When Percy introduced them, he didn't expect them to start plotting. They were going to break an unwritten rule. Prank Percy.

Connor and Travis had tried to warn them. But they didn't listen.

"The last time we tried to prank him when ended up in the infirmary!" They told them.

Later that night, Emma and Leo sneaked out. With blue sour strings a yard (3 feet) long each. There were 75 of them.

The prank was, instead of toilet papering a house, they were going to blue sour string it.

But that was only part one of the master plan. Part two was to STEAL RIPTIDE.

You may be thinking, how do you steal an item that appears in the owner's pocket. Well with a little help from the Hecate cabin, you can.

They put up the strings, not without eating a few, they headed inside to hear the snoring sounds of the son of Poseidon.

Slowly, they reached the night stand that Riptide was resting on. As sly as snakes, they grabbed the pen and quickly exited the cabin.

"I can't believe we just did that!" Emma exclamined

"I know. It was fun thought, wasn't it?"

They started talking and got to know each other better. But, they only had a little time before the harpies came.

"Good night Emma."

"Night Leo." Then Emma did something that surprised him. She kissed him.

"Wow." He said under his breath.

In the morning, a scream was heard from cabin 3.

"WHERE IS RIPTIDE! AND WHY IS MY CABIN A BLUE SOUR STRING LAND NOT THAT I MIND MUCH!"

Leo was laughing in his cabin. "Oh the joys of pranking."

Percy was fuming when they got to the dining pavilion. He was questioning everyone about the prank last night.

The realization struck him. Riptide was gone.

"Riptide's gone, Riptide's gone, we are all going to die." Percy said as he curled up into a tight ball.

"This is worth more than a million bucks." Emma said, taking a video with the monster proof phone.

Just then the Stoll brothers came rushing up to them. "You broke Percy! We will forever honor you."

But the praise was short lived as Annabeth came up with a knife. "I know you and Emma stole Riptide. Give it back or you might lose an arm or leg." She threated Leo.

"Fine." He said taking Riptide from his pocket and handed it to Percy. "Here you go."

Percy started kissing the pen/sword. "I will never leave you out of my sight again."

And that my friends is how Emma and Leo started going out. Also, its how Percy found out his fear.

Leo and Emma are Percy's worst fear. Them and losing Riptide.

Author's Note

This one-shot is long overdue. Sorry. Activities and school take up a lot of my time. Add Birthdays, being sick, and drama and you got yourself a busy life. But I love writing and if you couldn't tell, I tried a different style. I don't like it that much but it was best for this story.
