" You're awfully quiet tonight..." Duo glanced at his current partner, next to him in bed. Qual was staring at the wall opposite them but turned towards him at the sound of his voice. It was for the first time in a while either of them had spoken. Content and seemingly lost in thought they remained in bed.

" I was thinking." She said after a moment of silence with an awkward smile on her face.

" Ah, you do that as well now?" Duo teased as he tried to lighten the suddenly somewhat down spirit of the girl who usually was able to surpass him at all pranks and the ability to annoy others from time to time.

" Well I'm a modern woman." She countered his remark with a faint smile.

" You're a sexy woman..."

" Say that again?" Qual sat up, covering her half naked form with the sheets, suddenly all ears. " I thought for a second there you said I'm sexy..."

" Did I now?" Duo grinned lazily, leaning back against the fluffy pillow.

" Yes I believe you did. Are you trying to flirt with me?" She asked with a small grin as well as some curiosity if to find out what the previous hour meant to him.

Did he catch on to it? With the same lazy smile from before Duo leaned in to pull her close. " Was I that obvious?" Goofy grin plastered his face. His face which drew closer to plant a kiss on her forehead.

" Hhhmm well in that case,-" He said lowering his lips to kiss the top of her nose lightly " I think you're unbelievably sexy..." His lips brushed hers, trailed down to her neck to nuzzle her jaw line. " And smart..." He continued, interrupting his kisses to look up to her for a moment. " And even though you're the biggest pain in the neck I have ever met, I still think you're cute."

" How do you put up with me?" Qual rolled her eyes and grinned " But you would say that, you've never met yourself."

" Yeah I wonder tha...Hey! You come back here! That's not funny!" He yelled very indignant when he realised what she said only a second after she jumped of the bed with a loud cheer.

He caught up with her halfway down the hall, pinning her effectively against the wall, wrists above her head. Both where slightly out of breath from their little chase. Neither of them gave the fact that they where only half dressed even a moments thought. " I dare you say that again."

" Back of pony boy." She said playfully pushing him away only to stare in the slightly disturbed and disgusted face of Wufei. " Oh hey Wuf..." She tried grin as she felt her cheeks flush with embarrassment.

" Nngh,-" As he turned away there where some mumbles about stupid American baka's.

One look at Duo was enough to burst out into laughing. " One would think they're used to it by now."

" Yeah well we better get back to my room before he takes out his damn gun to show the way." Duo grinned and scooped her up in his arm. " There comes the bride." He sang of key, carrying her through the door and dropping her on the bed.

" Keep dreaming!" Qual sang back in the same of key way.

" Aww you're hurting my feelings!"

" One would think you're used to it by now." She replied with a grin diving away before the pillow could hit her head.
