Sam was sitting on the end of his bed and researching about his new case in the motel room, Dean had to go out and snoop around the victim's house. He suddenly heard a knock the door and saw the lights flickering and the TV turned on and started making sounds. He ran to the other side of the room and grabbed the demon killing blade. He went to the door and opened the door quickly, but there was no one there. Then all of a sudden he heard footsteps and started heading towards the other weapons on the table when he heard "Hello Sam". He froze; he knew that voice anywhere, Ruby. He says with his back to her "What do you want Ruby?" with caution in his voice. She started walking towards him and he turned around to face her. She says "I have come to give you a warning, Lilith is here." Sam stares at her with shock and anger. He kept replaying over and over the memories of the thousands of innocent people Lilith killed and what her plan was. Ruby walked steadily towards and grabs his shoulders and says to him staring into his big brown eyes "I promise you Sam I will help you defeat Lilith, I will never leave you again and I will help you in any way I can, I will help you become stronger." Sam stared at her at her and started to see her in a new way. He felt his feelings change about her. Ruby paused and put a hand against his cheek and smiled at him and said "Let's get started." He smiled back at her, ready.
