Dying Again
The car headlights blinded Matt, as Gerard looked at him for a second, and then pushed him. Matt fell and rolled down by the pond.
He was about to get up, but Gerard grabs him, and dragged him into the water. He pushed Matt in the water. Matt tried to fight back, but somehow the old man was too strong.
Jackson- help me, Matt said. But the Kanima's fear, like its Master's would not let him save him. Matt tried to hold his breath, but Gerard pushed him deeper in the water, allowing Matt's mouth open, as he suck the water.
Then Matt remembered, that horrible night. That Lahey and the swim team just watched him drown and laughed. Remembering Lahey telling him, to tell no one.
"You say nothing! You tell no one! No one!
He could not believe that he was dying again. The water was filling his lunges. He suffocate water, as it filled his mouth. He choke the water. He tried again to bring his head up in the surface, but the old man was holding his throat. Matt begins to shut down as his lunges burst. Gerard let Matt go, as he saw the sixteen year boy dead.
