After the case with Elia, Paige just wanted to crawl into bed and cry. Knowing that Walter kissed the women hurt more than Paige expected. She knew that he didn't mean it and he probably didn't know thanks to the roffie she had slipped him, but it still hurt. Paige couldn't shake off the heartache she was feeling and she couldn't bear to look at Walter.

As soon as the team arrived back at the garage, Paige immediately got into her car and headed home. She couldn't face Toby sneering remarks of Walter and mostly she couldn't face Walter. Paige left without saying goodbye to anyone. She was glad that Ralph is staying the night at Billy's allowing the time for her to cry. The right time for emotions. Paige just wanted to spend the night alone.

When Paige finally arrived home she got the shock of her life

"Walter?! What are you doing here…how did u get in here?"

"I have a 197 IQ I know how to pick a lock."

Seconds passed by as they both stared into each other eyes, expecting the other person to say something. Finally Paige broke the silence

"You haven't answered my question…"

"Normals say flowers are a way of apologising. I know I hurt you. I'm..sorry."

Paige eyes glistered as she held the bouquet of red roses that was presented to her. She hasn't received any flowers from anyone since Drew abandoned them all those years ago.

"I…still screwed up, haven't I?"

Paige chocked on her words, unable to answer his question, only managing to shake her head as she tried to fight back the tears that were forcing their way out.

"Does…that m...mean you forgive me?" A fear lingered in his voice, hoping that he has not lost the most important person in his life.

Paige losing her fight as tears streamed down her face, nodding as she threw herself at him, embracing him in a hug

A quiet whisper managed to escape her lips, "thank you"

Walter felt an instant relief as Paige embraced him. Returning the hug Paige for once let herself believe that one day maybe she will get her fairy-tale ending.

They stood there enjoying each other company before heading to the couch before drifting off to sleep together in each other arms.
