A/N: So... Clementine was a bit OOC in this chapter... but, you know... stuff... ALSO! I'd just like to say, that not all the one-shots will be Nuke based, just this one in particular. Like, coming up next, I've got um... a thing... no spoilers! - Or details! Lastly, I know I should be working on Chp. 1 of Illusion in the Memory, or Chp. 4 of Lonely Winter, etc. but I couldn't really think of anything, and I got this out in like... five minutes... explains why it's so short, I'm sure. Anyways, um... bye? Oh, and if you want, you can leave a prompt for a one-shot in the reviews, I'll see what I can do with it. :)
3rd POV:
It was Christmas time, and even though it was the apocalypse and nothing really mattered anymore, the cabin group still sort of liked Christmas. They'd hang up decorations and everything. Over the course of a few months, the few months in which they'd met a girl named Clementine, Luke had began to develop feelings for Nick. He hated it! He hated how he couldn't be around Nick without feeling awkward or nervous, butterflies in his stomach or his heart beat going wild! And Clementine, well, Clementine had learned of this, purely accidental of course. One of the decorations that the cabin group had hung up was mistletoe... And this, my friends, is where the story begins.
Luke and Nick gently brushed against each other as they walked by each other. Luke felt his heart begin beating so fast he thought it'd never beat ONCE compared to how hard it was beating right now... Little did he know... That a certain little girl was watching.
"Tsk, tsk, tsk." Clementine smirked and pulled the two back to where they had been standing.
Nick gave Clementine a confused look, while Luke gave Clementine a nervous one. She knew he couldn't be this close to Nick without feeling butterflies in his stomach.
"You know the rules, when you walk under mistletoe-"
Luke and Nick both nervously turned their heads up to see mistletoe hanging above them.
A sickly smile appeared across her lips. "You gotta kiss whoever's under the mistletoe with you."
Luke edgily leaned in, pecking Nick on the cheek, making sure his chest was far from coming in contact with the other man's. They were about to move on again when...
"No. Way. On the lips." Clementine poked as she dragged them back to their spots.
Luke's heart began beating so hard he thought it'd force its way out of his chest. His eyes widened, and his face flushed as he watched Nick lean in closer to him. His vision blurred as Nick's lips made contact with his... and then it was over. Quite quickly, actually. And Nick walked away, his arm slightly brushing against Luke's as if nothing had happened. Luke stood there, still caught up in the moment from before. And then he heard someone awkwardly cough.
"Merry Christmas, Luke." Clementine smirked before walking away in her PJs, her arms still crossed, and going upstairs.
