Hi. Tala here. Just a little story idea. If I get enough love I might continue this. I don't own Doctor Who. Enjoy.

The TARDIS was parked on a red rocky planet. Two time travellers, one male and one female, were standing at the top of the cliff.

"How long are you going to stay with me?" The Doctor asked.

"Forever." Rose smiled up at him, her tongue between her teeth.

The Doctor couldn't hold back any longer. He leaned forward and captured her lips in a kiss.

"That's more like it. A bit of the old team." Rose tries to reassure.

"Hope and Glory. Mutt and Jeff. Shiver and Shake." The Doctor agrees.

Rose pauses. "Which one's Shiver?" She hoped he wasn't calling her an elephant. He would get a slap if he was.

"Oh, I'm Shake." The Doctor said, handing her a magna clamp. The Doctor placed a kiss on her forehead. "It'll be alright."

"The breach is open! Into the Void! Ha!" The Doctor gloated.

Struggling to hold onto the lever. Desperation to stay with him. Her lover.

"Rose, hold on! Hold on!" The Doctor's shouts echo in her head.

"Take me back! Take me back!" Fists beat against a too white wall.

A cold, wet beach. "Where are you?"

"Inside the TARDIS. There's one little tiny gap in the universe left, just about to close. It takes a lot of power to send this projection. I'm in orbit around a supernova. I'm burning up a sun just to say goodbye."

No. Don't say goodbye.

"Can I?"

"I'm just an image. No touch."

Hearts breaking. Sadness. Devastation. A tentative nudge against her mind.

"Can't you come through properly?" Questions asked half seriously. Must tell him. He must know.

"The whole thing would fracture. Two universes would collapse."

Heartbreak. Can't tell him. He would actually destroy both if he knew.

"How long do we have?"

"About two minutes."

"I don't know what to say." Maybe hint at it? See what his reaction is?

"There's five of us now. Mum, Dad, Mickey and the baby."

Absolute anguish across every one his features. "You're not?" The haunting image forever etched in her mind.

No. Can't tell him.

"No. It's Mum. She's three months gone. More Tylers on the way." Half hearted cheers. Bold faced lies.

"Am I ever going to see you again?" Tears desperately held back.

"You can't."

The last piece of her heart shattered into a million pieces.

"What are you going to do?"

"Same old life."

"I love you."

"Rose Tyler, I-"

The image gone. Too late. Ran out of time. Collapsing on the sand. Sobs breaking out of her mouth. Shoulders heaving. Hyperventilating. Blacking out. Coming to in a hospital with her mother standing over her.

"Oh, Sweetheart. Why didn't you tell me?" Jackie Tyler's sympathetic voice.

Too much. Have to get away.

Alone. So alone. An insistent nudge at her mind. Not alone. Never alone again.

"Hello, sweetie. I will love you forever." A hand caressing her still flat belly.

Rose Marion Tyler woke with a gasp. She rolled over and sobbed into her pillow. After her daily crying jag, Rose got up and went about her day. Never forgetting the alien who abducted her at the tender age of nineteen and captured her heart. A small wave of love crashed through her mind. She could never forget the night they made the new life growing in her body.

"I love you little one. We will get back to your Daddy. I swear on my life. If it's the last thing I do, I will get us home." Rose stroked swelling stomach. "I will get us home."
