Prologue
Naraku needs a new body.
Enma. Shinso. Kirito. Ryukotsusei.
Those are the four demons that Naraku needs to make what he embodies to be the perfect body. Fortunately, unfortunate however, for Naraku these demons have been laying dormant for centuries. It was going to take immense power, power Naraku didn't have as a half demon.
After painstakingly dispatching Kanna and Kagura, they discovered a key for him.
That key is 18 year old *Saori "Norma" Jeane, a mortal who is about to discover that she can go back in time to Feudal Japan via a river; a place unlike any other, one she can't possibly fathom why she has the power to step into until Naraku reveals his insidious plans for her.
During her time there, she begins traveling with an aristocratic demon, discovering the joy that comes with being called "big sister" as well as finding out that she has the ability to talk to swords, completely unaware of the tragic twist that will forever change, and greatly effect the hearts of Saori and her companions, as well as Inuyasha and his friends.
author's tidbit; This is my first Inuyasha fanfiction. My heart is pounding with excitement. Don't let the length of the prologue deceive you, please. Writing short prologues before the first chapter of my stories always was my style. The chapters will be MMUUCCHH longer, trust me. *I'll close out my author's note with an interesting fact about Saori's name. I've always idolized Marilyn Monroe for as long as I can remember To me, she was, and still is the most beautiful woman in the world, so I decided to name Saori after Marilyn Monroe in her honor.
