Zander's POV

Today was our band car wash fund raiser to fund enough money for us to update some of our equipment. It started at 4 and right now it was 3:30. So I go into the bathroom and change into my swim trunks and head to the parking lot to help set up the buckets and such.

I see Kacey and Nelson filling up buckets of water and soap. I look to my right and drop my bucket all over the parking lot when I saw Stevie in her dark purple bikini. She was carrying the hose closely followed by Kevin who looked like he was about to faint.

"Zander!" she calls over to me

"Yeah?" I say running over

"Will you help me carry the hose Kevin's being a girl and not helping."

"Hey I'm tired!" Kevin defends dropping rope as I go to pick it up.

Okay Zander don't look at her butt, anything but her butt. Oh look a bird! What is that that's not a bird? I turn my head to the other side, remember Zander don't look at her butt look there's a tree, wow trees are pretty.

"Have you been listening to anything I was saying?" asks Stevie as we put the hose in its spot, and putting her hands on her hips.

"Uh….no." I admit looking at the sky. She just scoffs and walks away. It's not like I'm in love with Stevie I just have a little crush, no I'm crazy about her but I don't want to ruin our friendship or the band.

"Oh looks like Zander's checking out Stevie!" exclaims Kacey coming over to me followed by Kevin and Nelson.

"I was not!" I defend blushing.

"Oh look he's blushing!" announces Nelson pointing at me.

"No!" I say looking over at Stevie who was talking to our first customer about how long it would take.

"Okay…" Kevin starts, but looks over at Nelson, "Oh Stevie I love you!" Kevin and him joke mocking me and making kissy faces.

"Who loves me?" asks Stevie walking over to us.

"Uh, Justin Cole yeah!" says Kacey hurriedly, getting weird looks from all of us.

"Well whatever, I don't like him anymore anyways." She says, "C'mon we have cars to clean."

We walk over to the SUV and start using the sponges to scrub down the car and hose it off. We go through twelve or thirteen cars including Molly's car which she made us wash like five times. We finally have a little break. So I take the hose and spray Stevie with the cold water.

"Hey!" she says dumping a bucket of soapy water on my head. I spit out the remains and go up and hug her rubbing against her so that the soap gets all over her.

When I pull away I wait for her to do something, but I seem to have lost her. Until I feel her put four sponges down the back of my swim trunks. She starts running away and I try to run after her as sponges are coming out of my trunks. I finally catch her in the grass and gently tackle her to the ground.

"Got you!" I tease, as she stops struggling and looks into my eyes. I can't help but feel the heat of the moment and I lean down and kiss her. I am ecstatic when I realize she was kissing me back. We kiss for a few minutes when we are rudely interrupted by Justin Cole's car horn. I help her up and smirk as I notice she's blushing.

We go up to Justin's car and start scrubbing it. I can't help but notice him eyeing Stevie; I just roll my eyes and walk over to Stevie.

"Hey." She smiles, and it's not awkward like I thought it could be.

I don't respond with words I just kiss her and she kisses back like before. I wanted to show Justin that as of now Stevie is off limits, and because I just wanted to feel her lips on mine again.

"Aw you guys are so cute!" announces Kacey as Justin drives away giving me the death glare.
