Hermione was nervious. Sure, twenty-one was a respectable age to get married, but it didn't make her any less nervous. She stood in front of a full length mirror, admiring her dress, not herself, trying to distract herself. It was a beautiful dress, like that of a princesses.
There was a knock at the door, the a bubbly young red-head walked though, beaming brilliantly, her dress almost as red as her hair.
"What's wrong, Hermione?" Ginny asked, her grin fading rapidly, "You look like you're having second thoughts..."
"It's not that, it's just..." Hermione didn't know how to reply. Was she having second thoughts?
"Hermione," Ginny said, walking over and grabbing the other woman's hands in her own, "Why did you start going out with, Ron?"
"Well, because I liked him, but-!"
"Why did you accept when he proposed?"
"Because..."
"Because?" GInny pushed.
"Because I love him," Hermione admitted, blushing madly.
"And why are you in that dress?"
"Because i want to marry Ron."
Ginny grinned, "The ceremony is about to start, are you ready?
Hermione smiled, smoothing out the non-existant crinkles on her dress, "Yeah,"
The younger woman lead the other out. Hermione walked carefully down the stairs of the burrow, and just before they exited the house, Ginny made sure the Bride's veil was in place and over her face, and handed her a buoquet before rushing into her place, leaving Hermione at the front door.
Hermione waited silently a few moment, then began walking, as she approached to crowd, music began playing and everybody stood. Hermione walked down the aisle. Her nerves aross as she aproached her soon to be husband.
When she stood in front of him, she heard him whisper something he'd said countless times, although she never believed him before now. He whispered some-thing he'd never said to anyone else before, except her. Something that had Hemione's nerves disappear and a smile form on her face.
"You look beautiful, Hemione." Ron said
