I saw a post on tumblr about the ending to BoO and how it should end with Percy thinking or saying "Look I didn't want to be a half-blood." I loved it so here it is. ALL THESE CHARACTERS GO TO RICK RIORDAN THE TROLL KING.
Percy
It was finally over. Percy was actually surprised that they won with the numbers they had but he could take all the credit. The seven plus a little help from the dead like Michael Yew, Lee Fletcher, Beckendorf, and finally Luke. They had all help, and when he finally got home to New York he had gone to the store around midnight all beat up with cuts and bruises, he had gotten some weird looks, and bought some milk. He opened the door to his apartment at one in the morning sat down and had a bowl of cereal gods Demeter would be so happy right now he thought to himself. He heard movement behind him and then there was a gasp and a baseball bat dropped to the floor. He looked over to see the sight of his step father standing there in shock with tears in his eyes he smiled at him and pointed to the milk "I told you I remembered but I got a hungry so you may have to get more."
"Sally! Sally get in here!"
"Paul what is it-," she was cut off by the sight of her son sitting at her table eating a bowl of cereal, she stood there for a second then ran towards him giving him a bone crushing hug. She was giving him a bunch of kisses all over his face and wouldn't let go of her son. Percy stood up and hugged his mom "I'm sorry mom," he said "I'm so sorry I promise I will never let that happen again."
"It's okay Percy your home now that's all that matters, now I'll make some blue pancakes and we can watch some movies okay."
And so they did she had made pancakes and they sat up all night together on the couch as a family Sally never asked what had happen to Percy because she knew he wasn't ready yet and she would be there when he was. As Percy went to his bedroom to go to sleep there was only one thing he could think of, I better not have anymore prophecies about me. He laughed at the thought and went into a dreamless sleep wondering what the future might bring.
Look he didn't want to be half-blood.
