Title: The hardest thing about meeting the parents.

Pairing: Draco Malfoy/ Dean Thomas

Summery: Draco despises muggle clothing, Dean loves him in them…

Warnings: Slash, swearing.

Rating: not sure yet…

A/N: this is just a cute little one-shot that I wrote in a few minutes, mostly because I really wanted to write a Draco/Dean fic.

Enjoy.

"I still don't understand why I have to do this." Draco's voice called out to his partner in their large two bedroom apartment in central muggle London.

"Because we're going to my parents for the first time and you know they're a little uncomfortable with the whole wizarding thing, like your robes." Dean called back irritated about having to have the same conversation they've had a dozed times before.

"I look ridiculous." Draco whined. "And this fabric is giving me a rash." He came out f their bedroom to show Dean.

He wore fitted denim jeans and a plain, black t-shirt that showed his defined chest. His white blond hair was done just messy enough with a few well placed strands hanging over his silver eyes.

"You look amazing Dray, I love you in muggle clothes." Dean walked over to Draco and lead him to the couch so they sat facing each other.

"Just understand, my family will react and behave better with as little wizarding things as possible."

Dean's family were never really okay with him being a wizard and less so when he told them he was gay and dating a high class wizard. He knew his mother always expected him to end up with this girl in their neighborhood who he had known all his life. While Draco wasn't the 'man' in their relationship and rather delicate and loved to shop he was no were near being female.

"Well that's stupid." Draco scoffed. "Magic makes your life better, who wouldn't want to be apart of that?"

"Look Dray, I made the effort when I met your parents didn't i ?" He said sternly.

"Yes." Draco replied reluctantly.

"I wore those silly dress robes didn't I?"

"Yes."

"Treated them with respect?"

"Yes."

"And said nothing remotely muggle?"

"Yes."

"And they still treated me as if I were nothing didn't they?" He concluded.

"And I apologized profusely again and again and again." Draco defended.

"I know you did and I don't blame you one bit, all I'm asking is you do the same for me." Dean squeezed his lovers hands hopefully. His chocolate colored hands covering Draco's pale ones.

"Just let me wear my robes! I hate these things." He pulled at the jeans. "There so tight. They rub against me tender skin and cling to my prick, it shows everything! And this top is giving me a dam rash!" Draco huffed like a petulant two year old.

"I told you to put on underpants but fine! Do what you like, if you don't want to make the effort for one fucking day then fine! I don't fucking care anymore!" Dean got up and stormed angrily to the kitchen.

He just didn't understand Draco sometimes. He had to sit through that horrid dinner at Malfoy Manor while Lucius did everything to make him uncomfortable. He belittled and insulted , criticized and berated him and Draco couldn't-no wouldn't wear muggle clothes for a few bloody hours.

Dean was leaning over the sink, hands clenched on the bench when he heard Draco walk up behind him.

Draco wrapped his arms around Deans waist.

"I'm sorry." He placed his head on Deans tensed shoulder.

"I know this is important for you. I'm just being stubborn. But your right, you sat through that god awful dinner with my parents so I'll do this for you. Not for your family and their wizard phobia. For you." Draco kissed his neck.

Dean turned around and enveloped Draco in a crushing hug.

"Thank you Dray." He kissed his lips softly.
