Lucy faced the armed soldiers, who got nervous at her sight. They had heard of her. Heard of the abilities of the horned girls and seen the blood left from their massacres.
They were commanded to shoot.
She closed her eyes. Reflecting all the lives she had taken in her life so easily. She never had counted. Only one she would never be able to take.
"Kouta." Her lips whispered in pain. She never ever wanted to harm him.
Though that's been what she had done.
It was her, who brought assumedly more pain to him, than she had if he was sliced physically by her vectors like all the others. Now she had understood this fact. Realization had taken long for her instead of him understanding and forgiving her.
How could he forgive her, after all she had done? After all she could not forgive herself?
It was easy to hate herself, her whole life, all she had done in the past.
Her eyes opened, rising with her vectors up to the sky reaching for the stars and the bright shining moon.
Dull shocks wandered through her body causing burning twinges followed by purple torrents of her hot life-liquid which flooded over her skin, always untouched by those bullets whose were corroding through her flesh now.
So this was dying like. It wasn't that easy it always seemed, when she wasn't the one who did. Her remaining short time stretched endlessly to eternity.
The pangs she first felt had separated her mind from her physical corpus. Blurred last sensations more guessed than felt came to her brain, her body doped up by spilled hormones.
There was a state of nothingness she had settled over from which she could watch her body get eroded from the world piece by piece.
"Sorry Nyu, you can't live the life you want or Kouta wants you to with that body." She apologized to the other entity and disappeared.

My first FF and my first English prose and hoping it's not that bad. Please criticize and review.
I just had to write it after watching this great anime recently. Who could keep away his eyes of it after that intro fusing Klimt and modern anime???
If it's already complete? To tell the truth: I got no idea. There are still some ideas for Elfenlied and this FF remaining in my head. But although hating the open ending of the anime I like one in this fic.
So wait and see if I ever get time and a good mood to go on with this … perhaps anytime, anyplace, anyhow … Before my note gets even longer than my fic I'll end it up here ;-)
