Puck stood there, his eyes sparkling, as his wings slowly extended gracefully. Usually, I would never use the word graceful with Puck, the prankster king. I never knew true love- or hate before I met him. First it was hate, but even I have to admit to myself that I love him. His long, wavy hair, green eyes, and of course, the wings. He smiled. I loved that smile. He had asked me on a date to what he called the most romantic place on earth. When I heard him speak the words, I was shocked. Puck usually had nothing to do with romance, he could've spat in its face if it was a person. He outstretched his arms, and I but my lip not to laugh. Was he serious? This was puck we were talking about. As I took his arms, he told me to close my eyes. I did. When the flying sensation stopped, he stepped away.

"Open your eyes," he said. When I did, I couldn't believe my eyes. The rolling hills complimented the delicate sunset in the background. You could barely see the sun, and it was going fast. Soon, it would be dark, and they wouldn't be able to see. As I looked to my left, I saw a blanket with my grandma's picnic basket on it. No telling what was in there. He led me over to the soft blanket, and opened the basket. "I have your favorite foods ever," he said. He put his hand in the basket. "Wait, where are they? Urgh! Why did this have to happen?" he continued angrily as he found the basket empty. Finally, I couldn't take it anymore. I burst into laughter. It was so bad that I could barely breathe. After about a minute, I calmed myself down, to find that Puck was frowning.

"What's the matter with you? I go to all this trouble to make a perfect date and you laugh in my face! What was I thinking anyway? I am the trickster king! I'm not into romance!" he yelled. He folded his arms and crouched into a position like a small child pouting. I smiled and put my hand on his arm.

"Don't you get it? It's perfect. I'm laughing because you're trying too hard. It's the most romantic date I've ever been on. He smiled. As soon as it was there, the sunlight was gone. It was dark, except I noticed a green light to my left. As I turned my head, I saw a small path of glow sticks leading to a tree. "You?" I mouthed to Puck. He nodded. I looked at him questioningly, and he gestured me to follow the path. When I got to the tree, I felt my self being lifted onto a sturdy branch at the top of the tree. I gasped in fear when I saw how high we were. He held me to calm me down. As we looked out over the horizon, we talked for what seemed like forever. When there was silence, he leaned in. Was he trying to kiss me? If he was, it was a pathetic attempt. He had the most hilarious expression on his face. I leaned in back, and we kissed.
