"Get him! Don't let him escape!"
The hooded man ran across the rooftops quickly and skillfully jumped the gaps between buildings. He glanced behind him to make sure he wouldn't be seen before diving into one of the many rooftop gardens. There he hid while the shouts of the angry guards drew closer
"Where'd he go? Anyone see him?" one guard said standing next to his hiding spot. The other guards called back their failures to him. "Drat. We'll get that assassin next time." The assassin thought about quietly stabbing the guard and pulling him in, but the other guards might notice him missing, so he let the guard walk away noisily jumping down from the rooftop.
He hopped out and looked around and facepalmed when he realized how close he was to the bureau. It was the neighboring building! He was pretty sure the bureau leader had heard the guards searching for him. He sighed and lept over to the roof inlaid with the assassin's symbol. He was sure he'd get an earful for first, being spotted and second, leading the guards so close to the bureau. He jumped down through the open roof then greeted the navy robed man behind the counter "Safety and peace, Malik."
The one-armed man looked up from his map and glared at the assassin. "I seem to have little of either while in your presence, Altaïr."
