CHAPTER 1
"Violet get your stuff the bus will be here soon!" Screamed Robin Hood.
"I'm coming Dad! I can't find my chemistry book!" Said Violet as she tore her room apart.
"Have you checked Fluffy's bed?!"
As she walks over to her newly adopted cat's bed to find her cat sleeping on it. "Come on Fluffy get up. I need my book for school." She nudged the cat he looked at her and meowed. "I know lay on my bed it's much more comfortable than a chemistry book." The cat looks at her and hops up on her bed. She stuffs the book in her bag and runs down the stairs to find her dad standing there with her lunch. "We really have to get him a bed."
"I know. Now time for you to go."
"Ok. ROLAND LET'S GO!" Says Violet as she calls to her brother.
Roland comes down the stairs takes his lunch then bolts through the door not saying a word. "What's got his pants in bunch?"
"I told him he can't go the collage he wants to because of what the Dark One did to the town line. Now get to school."
"Fine bye Dad!" She said as she walked out the door. "Wait Roland!"
"Kid your 15 years old you don't need me to walk to school with you."
"Shut up I don't need your help. I want to talk to you about that collage thing." Roland immediately stopped short. "You weren't supposed to hear about that you can just but out right none of your business."
" Roland it sort of is. I'm looking out for you if you cross a time line you turn straight into a jewel. Dad has lost enough people and he doesn't need to lose a son too. He loves you and he's just looking out for you."
As soon as she stops talking her adopted cousin Henry and his two kids are out for their usual morning walk.
" Oh hi Violet, hi Roland off to school?"
"No we are walking out here in the freezing cold just to see the pigeons!" Says Roland then starts to sprint to the bus.
"Why he in a mood?"
"He's mad because my dad won't let him go to the college he wants to because its in another state.
"Oh I see good luck."
She says good bye then sprints to the bus stop.
