Hi everyone! My name is Jess and sooner or later you will find out my age ;)

This is a story I wrote back in 2013 and some of it in 2014. It is currently unfinished (there is no ending yet), so I will be finishing it later on this year. I stopped writing in 2013 for reasons I can't remember and have only got the motivation to finish it now. I've always intended to publish it so here I am. So in light of Rachel's departure from Shortland Street, I thought it would be a good time to finish and publish this fanfiction. When I started writing this in 2013 (23rd Oct to be exact) from the start I planned Chrichel (Chris and Rachel) to get married - hence the title of the story. So this is no way at all copying Shortland Street with the whole marriage thing. I had to include their backstory as well as the Flying Fox and Halloween as they are crucial parts to the story.

Please excuse any cringe moments like lovey dovey scenes - they're not my forte to write and I was 12 when writing most of this novel. I have although left some cringe material in as they're pretty funny to read. I am a straight E student (or for Americans, an A student) meaning i'm pretty good at English, but if there are some grammar issues which don't make sense, please PM me. Same thing with continuity issues - either complain or just blame by pre-teen year-old self. As much as I tried to write things the character would say/do, i've made them change a bit. EG Rachel showing her maternal side more.

So from the Halloween chapter (that includes Chris' head problems more into the story) everything is original material. Like I said, I didn't know the wedding was going to happen on the show, and I changed bits of it anyway. You'll understand me more when the story progresses.

I have exams at the moment but in my break times I will be finishing and remastering this story when I can, I hope to be finished before mid-December and will be releasing this story at the start of 2017. The wait will be worth it.

SO yep, i'll see you guys in 2017! (i'm 15 at the moment but by the time the story comes out ill be 16)
