Chapter one
Stewie sat in his room practically bouncing with excitement, for today was the day he got to go back to the park and play with Hudson. He had been waiting for this since last weekend when he had his first playdate. It was all so surreal how fast he gained feelings towards him. He wondered exactly why that was for a moment before being interrupted by Brian.
"Hey Stewie!" He said enthusiastically as he entered the room. "Do you want to go to see a movie or something?"
Stewie winced at this. "I already made plans with Hudson today to play at the park…"
Brian's ears visibly went back at the sound of the bad news. "Oh...ok. When's that?"
"About 30 minutes." Stewie replied excitedly.
Brian eyed him suspiciously. "What's the big deal about this boy anyways? He's so much dumber than you…" * brian put his hands together, putting them next his face. "Awww are you in love with him?" He joked.
Stewie was taken aback. "Wha...What?" He thought about it before coyly responding. "Maybe I am." He crossed his arms and turned from the dog.
Brian's breath got caught in his throat as he stood there wide eyed. He was only joking when he said that and now he regretted it. He never really acknowledged it but he knew deep down that he loved the boy, no he was in love with him… But he couldn't do anything about it. It was so wrong on so many levels. Brian knew this day would come when Stewie would find someone, he just didn't think it would be so soon. He realized after a few moments that he needed to say something. "Really? You think you're in love? You have only known him for a week."
Stewie rolled his eyes, even though he knew the dog couldn't see it. "Why do you care so much all of a sudden?"
"I just don't want to see you get yourself hurt by running into a relationship so fast." Brian said as calmly as he could muster.
Stewie practically burst out laughing. Turning around and glaring at Brian. "Oh that's so hypocritical of you, dog. You end up running into a new relationship dick first every weekend!" Stewie sat there annoyed at the dog and not afraid to show it.
Brian rubbed the back of his neck. "That's different though…" He said his mood becoming even more unhappy.
Stewie rolled his eyes. "And how exactly do you think that is?"
Brian sighed before sitting down himself. "Stewie you got a good eighty years ahead of you to find someone you love...I only have eight…" Tears were starting to form in his eyes as he looked away not wanting to cry in front of Stewie.
Stewie becoming a lot more sympathetic scooted over to where Brian was sitting and started to rub his ear. "Brian, look at me…You'll find someone you really love someday, and when you do, never let them go. Give them everything you got." His words were encouraging yet somehow soothing at the same time.
Brian felt tears starting to fall down his cheek, as he turned to face his friend. "Thanks, Stewie."
Stewie sat there rubbing his ear softly for a couple more minutes until his friend completely calmed down. "There, you feeling better?"
Brian sighed. "Yeah I guess… Do you need a ride to the park? You don't want to be late."
Stewie sat up quickly, excitement filling his body again. "I almost forgot about that! Yes that would be wonderful if you could please."
Brian smiled at how happy stewie looked at that moment. The few times that Stewie went into his child like states always made Brian happy. "We should get going then." He stood up taking the kid's hand and walked out the door.
