Can We Build A Snowman?
Disclaimer: I own nothing.
A/n: just felt like writing a Frozen one shot.
"Mommy!" Anna groaned hearing her child open her bedroom door. She buried her face into her pillow as she heard the soft patter of chubby little feet against the floor. "Mommy." The small girl hoisted herself up onto her parents bed and tried to get her mother's attention. Anna loved her child, but she did not love the morning. "Mommy. Wake up."
Anna groaned feeling small sticky hands press against her. "Go bother Daddy." The small girl pouted looking at her father's empty side of the bed. She looked outside and an idea struck her. She climbed on top of her mother and placed her lips at Anna's ear. "Can we build a snowman?" Anna peeked one eye open and smiled a bit seeing the pudgy little face near hers. She scooped up the small girl and sat up placing her on her lap. "Okay. On one condition."
"Aunt Elsa!" The small girl let her legs carry her down the hallway, dragging her mother with her. She swung open Elsa's door and flung herself upon her aunt. "Aunt Elsa. Aunt Elsa. Can we build a snowman?" The woman pulled herself out of bed and smirked seeing her sister standing in the doorway smiling. "It is winter. Why am I being dragged into this?"
"Is that a yes?" Elsa looked down to see her niece dangling off her leg, smiling brightly. She stroked back the girl's light orange hair and smiled. "How can I say no to that face?"
"Yay!" The girl released her grip on Elsa's leg and grabbed her hand, and her mother's hand dragging both of them to the ballroom. The two sister's looked at eachother and couldn't help but laugh at the girl's enthusiasm. Upon reaching their destination the girl grunted, pushing open the large door with everything she possibly could. "Do it. Do it!" She jumped excitedly clapping her hands as Elsa twirled her hand and caused a gentle flurry of snowfall. "YAY!" Anna laughed as her daughter ran around the room grabbing at the flakes of snow and trying to capture them with her tongue. Elsa looked at her niece, and then her sister. "Gee. Wonder where she gets it from." Anna blushed. "Shut up. She clearly got it from Kristoff."
"Got what from Kristoff?" Anna looked behind her to see her husband shaking snow out of his hair. "Seriously? There isn't enough snow outside? You had to bring it in here also?"
"Daddy! Daddy lets build a snowman!" Kristoff smiled as his daughter flew into his arms. "It was all her idea." Anna gave her husband a pointed look as he swung his daughter into his arms.
"Oh yeah. Because a certain Miss. Feisty Pants wasn't just as bad at her age."
"Shut up Mr. Feisty Pants you know nothing. Now lets go build a snowman with our daughter." The family gathered on the ground and Kristoff helped his daughter roll up the snow. Elsa smiled softly and turned to go back to bed when she felt a snowball whack her in the back. "Where do you think you are going?"
"Back to bed. Unlike some of us I actually have to be awake later this day."
"Nice try your highness, but last time I checked you are a part of this family also. And I do declare, as second in line to the throne of Arendelle that the royal family will complete this snowman, together, and will proceed to make royal snow angels." Anna stuck her nose in the air and hooded her eyelids, trying to act high and mighty. "So sit your butt down and get to work."
"Yeah!" Anna's daughter copied her mother's face, and giggled at her attempt to order Elsa around.
"Fine. Fine." Elsa smiled and sat down and began to help with the snowman. When finished she watched as Anna turned the creation towards her daughter and brought it to life. Elsa smiled as she watched the little girl hug it. She was glad they had built a snowman.
