"Mhmmm…"

Knock! Knock! Knock! Knock!

"Mmmmhhh…who's it…?"

Knock! Knock! Knock! Knock!

"Who's it?"

Hiccup stirred, trying to open his eyes which felt like tons at the moment.

Knock! Knock! Knock! Knock!

"Sh…Coming!"
He kicked the blanket aside and with heavy feet made his way to the door. He opened the door to reveal short, blurry figure standing at the door.

"Mhmm!"
Hiccup rubbed his eyes to see clearly.

"Hiro?"

Hiro flinched, slightly.

"Hiccup, I am sorry for waking you up like that…"
Hiro said, wrapping his hands around himself while looking down meekly.

"Uh, no problem. What's…what's the matter?"
Hiccup asked, holding the door frame to prevent himself from falling.

"I had a nightmare…"
Hiro whispered.

"Ah, nightmares, I hate them. What was it?"

"Something…something happened to Tadashi…something very…bad…"
Hiro's voice didn't seem to coming out. He sure was scared. After all he was a 14 years old kid.

"Oh, Hiro. No, that's not gonna happen. We just talked to him a few hours ago, didn't we? He's doing just fine."
Hiccup replied, smiling to console the boy.

"I know…I was just…just scared…"

"Ah, don't worry. It's gonna be alright. Just try…to get some sleep, alright?"
Hiccup suggested and went for the door handle.

"Uh, Hiccup?"
Hiccup stopped and looked at him.

"Yeah, yeah what is it?"

Hiro bit his lip, looking down.

"Can…Can I sleep with you?"

Hiccup's eyes opened now and he could clearly see the teas glistening on the boy's face.

"Umm…"

Hiccup looked up at the clock on the wall which read 4: 56 am. Wow, just a few moments to morning.

" I am sorry...I should just get back to my bed...I was just...scared..."
Hiro turned to leave.

"No, wait, it's alright. Come."

Hiccup closed the door after Hiro walked further in the room.

"Uh, you sleep on the other side of the bed; the window's closer to it so you wouldn't feel uneasy…"

Hiccup suggested, pointing towards the bed's side.

Hiro got on the bed and as instructed by Hiccup, he laid down on his side of the bed. Hiccup got on his own side and curled up in the blanket so did Hiro.

Hiro looked at Hiccup, who was already starting to drift to sleep. He then looked up at the sky from the window. Morning Sunshine was about to peek from the window.

Hiro decided there wasn't much time left to sleep and Hiccup wouldn't want to waste his few minutes of peaceful sleep until Astrid bombards him with texts and calls to wake him up.

Hiro gently straightened Hiccup's arm that rested beside his pillow and curled up against the bigger male, wrapping his arm around himself and pulled the covers over them.

Hiro kept listening to Hiccup's heartbeat and enjoyed the warmth of chest against his head as it expanded and sank in as he breathed until he fell asleep.

A few minutes later, Hiccup woke up, feeling sudden weight on his chest and unable to move his left arm. He forced his eyes open and looked down to see a sleeping Hiro, curled up against him. He sure does sleep like a baby. Hiccup couldn't help but smile at the smaller male's sight in a peaceful, childlike state.

"Must've been really scared, heh?"

Hiccup gently ran his hand through the boy's hair. He didn't know what gotten into him as he leaned down and pressed his lips against the boy's head. It was…unusual. Like something forced him to do that but Hiccup didn't know.

Maybe…there's something more than what Hiccup thinks. Maybe…maybe Hiro's not just what Hiccup thinks he is to him. Maybe…maybe he's…More Than A Friend…?
