A/N I can't write in paragraphs, okay? Please don't beat me up about that. And this is my version of The 100, with no Clarke, Finn, or Octavia. If you don't like stuff like that, don't read this. And it might not be up to your expectations, but I'm working on my writing.
Darkness. A flash of light, and screams. My eyes flashed open. W-where was I...? I was surrounded by kids, strapped into a chair, with a cold band of metal encircling my wrist. The ship. Right. I remembered officers barging into my cell and pushing me out the door. I resisted after I thought I was being floated, like my dad. They tranq'd me of course, and then I woke up here. Everything was shaking. "What's happening?!" cried a teary girl beside me. I flinched. "We're being sent to earth" I said quietly, clenching my hands together. But that doesn't make sense! I'm two months away from turning eighteen! She kept crying. "We're going to die" she whimpered. I looked around, but that was hard, as the lights had failed. How much did they hit me with? I wondered, flicking my eyes around. "Well you don't look particularly bothered, considering our current surroundings." I looked to my left. I was pretty calm, but that was probably the tranquilizer. There was a guy, with black hair falling into his eyes. "I-I... Are we being sent to earth?" I asked nervously as I was jolted slightly. More screams arose, and the girl beside me wailed louder. "Yep. All 100 of us Delinquents" he said flippantly. We were being sent to earth... "But it's only been 97 years," I said, frowning. "Aren't we supposed to wait one hundred years? I mean, it was nuclear warfare and -" another jolt, and a spine jarring crash. I gasped. "I think we just landed" said the boy beside me. Everything was silent. "Hey, listen," said a boy along the row. "No machine hum." The girl beside me stopped crying. Kids were unbuckling their harnesses and standing up. With fumbling fingers, so did I. After standing up, I stood nervously on shaky legs, fiddling with the hem of my ratty green shirt. The girl sniffled and looked up. She was no younger than 14, with close cropped blond hair. Her eyes were red-rimmed from crying, with grey eyes. "Are we really on earth" she whispered hopefully. I looked behind me. Everyone was gathering around the door. "I think we are" I said. Slowly, the door opened with barely a whispered, and sunlight spilled across the floor. I held my hand out to the girl, who was trying to open her harness. And then everyone was cheering and screaming. The girl raced back me, but I stayed where I was. without realizing it, I was tugging slightly on my bracelet. I already knew that that thing would be a problem. Back on The Ark, my mom would take a rations for herself without anyone but me knowing. Eventually dad found out and started stealing them. Long story shot, my dad got floated, and I haven't exchanged a word with my mother for three weeks. She didn't care about me, that was the sad thing. "Are you coming?" yelled the girl gleefully. She had a leaf in her hair and was holding a twig. "Yeah, yeah I am" I said. I crossed the floor in three quick steps, mesmerized by the sun.
