"I'll be right back." I had said. "Bullshit." Dean said with a smirk, and I should have listened to him.
It was just supposed to be another case, but of course it wasn't. Why did I even agree to help those boys? Everything seemed so normal, and that should've been my warning that nothing was… there were Hell Hounds there.
And now I was dying, just perfect. I was alone and bleeding onto the concrete. And it wasn't even like I had Heaven to look forward to to, I was a demon. But maybe "God Almighty" would make an acceptation.
That's when he came in.
He just kind of appeared appeared into the room; well flew in. Angels, you know? "Meg…" Castiel said, startled. "Hey Clarence." He looked terrified, for me. He slowly sat down next to me, and I wrapped my arms around his waist. If I had a a dying wish, that would be it. To die with my unicorn.
"Cas," I said, my voice heavy with death, "G-Go find Sam and Dean. Leave me here." But Cas wasn't having any of that. "No, Meg. You'll get better. We'll take you to the hospital and… and…" He couldn't finish. "How cruel." I said. He squinted his eyes in that way were you just wanted to kiss him.
"The only way we'll see each other again is if you go to Hell." He laughed for some reason. "You think this is funny Cla-" and he cut me off. "You aren't going to Hell, has no one told you?" Now I was the one to squint my eyes. "Heaven has forgiven you, you have proven yourself worthy of Heaven."
I felt overjoyed. but also suspicious. Heaven just… forgave me for, well being a demon? I mean, I'll take Heaven over Hell any day. But the rest of the angels, they just all were like Yeah she was a demon but oh well? I just decided to buy it for now, and we would see it it was true or not soon enough.
My chest felt like it was being pressed down on. I knew this was it. "I… I love you, Castiel." I whispered. I looked up into the extraordinary sapphire eyes of his vessel, and he peered down into the chocolate colored eyes of mine. "I love you, Meg." His voice was rough, and a tear rolled down his stubbled cheek. Black started to rim my vision, and I felt death grab my gently. I uttered my last words…
"We're going to Heaven, Clarence."
