The Blame game
Superman and Batman sat in the small red cell, staring at each other.
Batman, being earth's greatest detective, knew the cell was white, the four walls, the floor, the ceiling and door… that cot in the corner… and that the red sun lamps sunk into the ceiling made everything appear in shades of red. Red as blood. Red that made superman not-so-super. Weak. Powerless. 'Could be worse, could be green' isn't that what the last son of krypton said when they had been thrown in here? 'Stupid … optimistic… 'Still, the red light made him antsy and more irritable than usual. Hell, it made him down right cranky. Or maybe it was the uncomfortable heat produced by the lamps. 'It's January in Gotham for crying out loud! 'Batman sincerely wished he had his utility belt. It didn't have his summer bat suit, but he could really use that new lock pick set Nightwing had given him at Christmas… 'Damn these cuffs chafed… '
''This is your fault.'' Batman growled.
'' my fault! How is this my fault?'' supe's asked, incredulous '' Ivy was-''
''Luthor is your villain, this is your fault.''
'' Oh, come on. Don't play The Blame game, I don't get on your case every time Joker-''
'' Don't even start with – wait… The Blame game?''
'' Yes, The Blame game: point the finger, win a prize! Fun for everyone who can say 'I didn't do it, they did!' ''
'' Are you seriously blaming me?''
'' No. I'm not blaming you. I'm saying I blame Ivy and Luthor for teaming up and-''
Just then the door to their cell slid into the wall. False red sunlight poured into the dark corridor beyond. There stood Lex Luthor and Pamela Isley aka Poison Ivy.
Sorry it's so short. I'll type more tomorrow promise.
