"Where is everyone?" I wondered. I looked around to see where I was. There was nothing but old gravestones. Many of which, in my opinion, needed a good cleaning, there were cobwebs everywhere.

"Who's there?" a stern voice called out.

"My name is Marilyn. Can you help me? I'm lost." A stirring in the bushes from behind me caused me to turn. I looked to see what was coming my way when I saw him. He came out from the shadows that the twilight cast upon the trees. His deep green eyes shimmering in the remaining light.

"What are you doing out here all by yourself?" he accused, as he kicked some dead sticks out of his path towards me, "Do you have any idea of how dangerous it is to be out here all alone at night?" I wanted to be angry at him for thinking me weak, but each time I built up the anger his sweet emerald eyes just took the anger away.

"I'm sorry, but as I said I'm lost." I said finally abandoning all attempts to be angry.

"It's alright. At least it was me and not… well someone else. I'll help you find your way home, where do you live?" I searched my mind for the words to tell him, but I couldn't find any.

"I don't know." was all I could say.

"What do you mean you don't know? How old are you?" yet another question I had no answer for. The tears began to stream from my eyes like waterfalls, the guilt in my heart was killing me, only three words could escape from my mouth,

"I don't know." he outstretched his arms toward me to comfort my sorrows.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to make you cry." I ran the short distance between us to fall into his embrace. I stopped just before him to embrace him with my arms too. There was only one problem, I fell right through him. Looking at the crumbled ground I could hear him behind me mumbling incoherent words to himself, his mind trying to explain what just happened. The wind blew, and leaves moved through me, and I knew, I was dead.
