Midnight Walk
His smile is beautiful and unique because it is rare. When he smiles I mean truly smiles it reaches his eyes and in that moment he is care free and trusting. [One-shot, M/M]
Blaise and Draco are around nine or ten years old in this one-shot.
They are at Malfoy Manor.
The stars shine bright above as he looks over to the blond walking next to him. We have walked around the lawn for a while, away from the party which we can still hear. As he stops us at the pond next to the Qudditch pitch. The rumble of people's voices is faint as the count down begins. Ten, the blond picks up a pebble. Nine, he throws it. Eight, a smile crosses his face. Seven, he looks up at the sky. Six, his smile gets bigger. Five, his eyes lands on me. Four, his eyes light up. Three, he is care free. Two, I walk closer. One, I kiss him, our first kiss. As I move back I whisper to him as our breaths mingle together. "Happy New year." he smiles again it also reaches his eyes. I love that smile but it goes away as we hear a wolf's howl nearby. He quickly grabs my hand, I can always tell when he is scared he bites his lip and his brows furrow as he reaches out for some one to hold so I grab his other hand. "Draco." he looks back to me. "Don't worry I will protect you from the dark and fight off the monsters." he isn't as scared any more so I smile to him. I know what will make him forget about being scared. "Race you back." he drops one of my hands before pulling me with him as he runs, care free again he laughs aloud as we are have fun away from our parents and the others.
