I was sitting outside, waiting for my little chibi to come home. He said he would be back soon. After two days from being w/out him, which seemed like two years, he would actually be back in my arms. Not to mention away from those awful military people. Especially Mustang, who seemed to watch over my Ed a little too well. Finally, twenty some odd hours (minutes) later, I caught a glimpse of a blonde walking up the road. I stood up from my "waiting pose" and walked towards the shrimp. As soon as I saw his smiling face, I felt my solemn one follow suit. "Hello there, Chibi-san," I greeted before pulling Ed into an embrace. "Hi Envy," he replied into the hollow of my neck. I opened the door and motioned for Edward to enter. I followed in after. Before Ed could push me onto our lovely little couch, I put a finger to my lips and motioned to the couch where Wrath was sleeping. Ed nodded. I had received 3hours of sleep the previous night, and was still kind of tired. So I sat down on the couch, waiting for my alchemist to sit next to me. As soon as he did, I made an attempt to rest my head on his shoulder. Sadly, my chibi doesn't understand the try and look innocent thing around here. He moved down and tried to kiss me, which would have been accepted, had Wrath not sleeping on the other couch. No matter how many times I shook my head, Metal-san just wouldn't get it. It was too risky. Not really because of our adopted Wrath, but that stupid Sloth was the house somewhere. Finally, I was too tired to try and keep my head on Ed's shoulder; I decided to place it on his lap. It felt good to have O'Chibi-san's human fingers run through my hair again. I turned to the other direction to listen to his heartbeat. It was so fast, I tried to move to the beat, but I couldn't go that fast. After giving up, I moved back around and found Edward's hand cupped against my cheek. I nuzzled the cold metal until it was warm, then turned back to Ed's face. Ed leaned over to me and whispered, "I love you so much," before placing a soft kiss to my forehead. I smiled, whispered "I love you too, Chibi-san," back, and went to sleep in my Chibi-san's lap.
