I'm Nothing Without You

As I step into the murky water,

I know what I must do.

I don't mind being a sacrifice,

I'm nothing without you.

I don't even take a breath,

What would be the point?

I gasped as fire fills my lungs,

You grab me by the joint.

You hold me under, but I don't struggle,

I want to be useful to you.

As I feel my life give out,

Can you see it too?

You're beautiful eyes turned red as blood,

As I blink, you're crying.

I try to smile to cheer you up,

As I lay here dying.

I will be your sacrifice,

I know what I must do.

What would be the point to live?

I'm nothing without you.
