This
is for Seii's Micro-fic challenge, It's about Joe….
**********************************
The Sun will come out
Joe fidgeted nervously in the uncomfortable chair located in the waiting room of the staff office in the Hospital. This was his first job interview and, of course, he was applying for an internship at the Odaiba hospital. Joe carefully held the resume in his hands, he had brought along another copy just in case.
5:10……5:10……5:10
Joe stared at his watch anxiously, when would they call him in!? It was driving him insane!
The interview was at 5:20pm and time was going very slowly. This internship would make his father proud, it would be an excellent way to reach his goal of being a doctor. He had worked too hard and for too long to not get this!
But did he want it?
Joe smiled nervously at the receptionist, that thought had never once left his mind. He stared at his watch again.
5:10
Oh come on! Give me a break. Joe tapped his watch to see if it was still working. It was.
Unfolding the fundamental piece of
paper he held, Joe read his resume over for what seemed to be the thousandth
time. And like those other thousand times, the same, annoying question returned
to his mind.
Do I want this?
He gazed at his surroundings in the small, cold, uncomfortable waiting room, and like those other thousand times, he replied with a rueful smile on his lips.
I'll
always make sure, the Sun will come out.

Yeah I know I know Joe doesn't seem to want to be a doctor, but! I think he understands that he can make sure some people will see the Sun come out again. (okay was what I said corny or what? Blah)
