Disclaimer : Lets just get straight to the point I don't own anything Harry Potter related. Now on with the story! Finding Out It started out as a normal day. It was June 22 and there would be 6 more days till Lily Evans last day of 6th year. Lily was getting ready for the day. She could tell something was wrong. She ignored it and decided to just enjoy her last days of 6th year. she woke up her friends Alice and Hestisa. Marleen was already up and ready like herself. Once the girls were ready we headed down to breakfast. We reached the bottem of the stairs . "Is it clear?" I asked. "No, now hush it you lot." Hestia said. " Ok its clear the only marauders I see are James and Remus."Marleen said sarcastically. "Hows that clear?" I asked. " Alright fine wait a moment... go!" Alice said. I peaked out to make sure she wasn't lying.'Thank Merlin' I thought to myself. We were just outside the portriat hole when I heard them."Lilyflower, Marlykin, Hestie poo, Allie-gator wait for meeee!" Sirius sang out. "Just pretend like you didn't hear them and keep walking." said Hest. "Good idea" Alice said and we did as we were told. We started to walk a little bit faster. Then we heard heavy approaching foot steps and we bolted. Soon we arrived at the Great hall and took our seats. Unfortunatly for us they decided to sit next to us. Sirius came over and plopped down inbetween me and Marleen. James sat down on my left. Remus sat down between Hestia and Alice. "Good morning ladys!" Sirius said as he pilled food on to his plate. " Not so good anymore." I mumbled. "Well that was rude just trying to be polite and you have to be all snooty." Sirius huffed. "Oh look mails here."I said just to annoy shot me a glare. Just then my bird, Hermes, flew down and dropped a letter onto my half emptied plate. I opened it and recognized my aunt's hand writting . I read it twice through. I stood up abrouptly, knocking over my cup of orange juice. I was a mixture of shocked, horrified, angry, extremly upset, and did I mention angry. As I ran out of the great hall I didn't even notice Alice calling out to me. I ran out the front doors leading to the grounds with tears streamming down my face. I didn't care. I ran to the other side of the lake that was facing the castle. I sat down and read the letter again: June 21, 1977 Dear Lily, I know it has been a long time since I've written. I'm very sorry that this is the way my next letter to you has to be composed but last night your parents were murdered last night by an evil wizard named Lord Voledamorte or something like that. I knew your sister would not inform you of this and I haven't heard from Oliver lately. Your Uncle Jack and I have no problem with you spending the summer here. Just owl us back if you want to. See you soon sweetie. With all my love, Aunt Melody
