Guess
Tenten had been distracted for some time. Neji was hardly someone to be called stupid. Heck, he's a genius. He knew what was distracting her. Or he had a pretty good idea of what was distracting her.
Tenten was in love.
Neji didn't like it one bit. He needed to know who she loved. Mostly so he could kill the guy who had caught the eye of Neji's girl. Well it wasn't like a spoken acknowledgment of dating but darn it everyone except Tenten new that Tenten was Neji's girl
"Tenten, who do you like?" he asked as he was walking her home after training.
"No way am I telling you!" she replied quickly.
"Tenten," he said warningly.
"Okay, I'll give you three guesses. If you guess correctly I'll tell you. If you guess wrong, however, you can't push it anymore," she allowed. After all even if he was a genius he'd never guess correctly.
"Is it Uchiha?"
"Eww… no. He's too traitorous." (No offense to Sasuke fans, I really have nothing against him. Hides from evil glares of Sasuke fans.)
"Shino?"
"I'm afraid of bugs… I thought you knew that."
Neji smirked. "I know who it is. Without a doubt my next guess will be correct and you can't deny it. After all it is fate. (I had to put that in…)
"I highly doubt it."
"It's me."
"How did you… I mean just shut up you stupid genius," Tenten whined.
"I'll take that as a yes," Neji said as they reached her house.
"I never said…" Tenten said but Neji silencer her with a kiss.
"I like you too," Neji said before walking off.
"Stupid genius… always figuring stuff out and always getting the last word," Tenten grumbled with a slight smile. "Oh, what am I saying? He's so perfect it isn't even funny.
