Cyndi glanced above her at the green leaves hung above her head. It figures she would get stuck under them with Remy right beside her and someone to witness it.
"Awww, Remy kiss her." Kitty urged, giggling like a child. Cyndi rolled her eyes playfully, trying to get out of his grasp, his hand holding hers and keeping her to him beneath the mistletoe.
"Kitty's righ', Chere...i's tradition." Remy concurred.
"Cut it out." Cyndi giggled. Remy was always trying to kiss her. Always trying to get close to her. And this was part of the fun...the chase. She would deny him relentlessly and he would take what he wanted when she least expected, usually to her delight.
"Non. We ain't movin' till these lips have kissed yours." He smirked, his eyes glowing brightly with excitement.
"I can't stand here all day, Cajun." Cyndi whined.
"Den jus' kiss Remy." He replied easily.
"No." Cyndi smirked as he pulled her closer into him, taking her hand and pulling it around him so her arm was around his lean waist.
"Oui." He purred.
"No." She laughed, looking away for a moment. Remy bit his lip and took this as his chance, he reached up to hold her chin and turned her face towards his, planting a firm yet gentle kiss on those forever elusive lips of hers. His kiss elicited a surprised gasp from her which quickly turned into a happy sigh as their lips caressed each others slowly.
Kitty watched the two with a grin tugging both corners of her mouth. She knew her friends far too well...once they were kissing, all the games ended and they were finally honest with one another proving that all their flirtatiousness and playing hard to get were all an act...though Kitty was certain both knew how the other felt.
Their lips pulled apart slowly...very slowly, neither wanting the kiss to end as they nuzzled their lips to the others one last time.
"Merry Christmas, Chere." Remy whispered to her softly.
"You're getting coal this year." Cyndi simply stated with a soft smile.
