Phillippa - here in mind, but in body. . .

Ohhh, I like how this one turned out. It didn't start out as Harry Potter anything, just the words "I'm in love with the girl with the moon in her eyes." Then. . .the idea that it could be just came upon me, and so I wrote it like that. The moon-eyed girl shouldn't be that hard to place, but I think the singer might be tricky. . .let's see what you think!

To the anonymous reviewers Someone and Doughreyme:

Sorry I reposted, but this story was formerly not really here, because I searched for it and couldn't find it. . .anyway. SOMEONE – It was definitely Frank the Wombat. And yes, I did write this myself (looks strangely at them) otherwise, it would be a little thing name plagiarism.

Disclaimer: I do not have: the rights to Harry Potter, my own private Starbucks, more than three pet wombats or my own tropical flower garden. Bummer for me.

Moon in Her Eyes

She's the girl that they mock
She might give you a shock
You might want to laugh as she passes you by
I'm in love with the girl with the moon in her eyes

She's kind of an outcast
And she's got a strange past
You'll find her outside with her face to the sky
I'm in love with the girl with the moon in her eyes

Some people say that she's not too sane
They haven't seen that she's not to blame
She's been through so much that it makes me cry
I'm in love with the girl with the moon in her eyes

While others laugh and tease
You will notice me with ease
I'm the one staring with a frown and a sigh
I'm in love with the girl with the moon in her eyes

One day, I'll ask the question
One day, without suggestion
I'll hope and I'll wish and I tell her why
I'm in love with her, the girl with the moon in her eyes

Take a guess or a gander at who the singer of the song is. . .in a week or so I'll put the answer in my bio. . .
