I have never been the adventurous type of person, but ever since I started my adventure, my whole personality has changed. I went from cowardly to brave, from nerdy to even more nerdy, from shy to outgoing. But I guess I should tell you the whole story and not just how I've changed.
It all started at a normal doctors appointment. Believe me, I know what you're thinking, "How does an adventure start at a doctors appointment?" Well to answer your question, my adventure doesn't really start here but what I find out affects me greatly. Anyways, back to more important subjects, it was a normal day at the hospital. I was there getting an x-ray on my brain so the doctors could know what was going on in my head. The x-ray results were not what we expected. A small tumor had been growing on my brain and it was messing up how I learn and how easily I get distracted. So now i have to take pills every day or I will die.
After the appointment, me and my mom went home to our house in Pallet town. When i checked my phone i had three new messages.
FROM: Newton:
Hey Terry, I just got some great news! Jeremy and my sister Rebecca are here. Come over whenever you can.
FROM: Jeremy:
Dude you gotta come to Newton's house soon. Like seriously its important.
FROM: Jeremy:
HURRY THE HELL UP!
I guess it was very important. I sprinted across the rode to Newton's house as fast as I could. I didn't even go over to here the news, I just wanted to see Newton's sister Rebecca. She was a short girl(She only reached my shoulder)with curly brown hair and beautiful eyes. Newton's parents hated me, so I climbed through his window to get into his house.
"So what's this big news?" I asked
"My parents don't hate you that much you know? And Jeremy wanted to tell you." Said Newton
Jeremy looked like a little kid on Christmas. "Professor Oak is giving us all Pokémon!" He screamed
I decided not to tell them about the tumor yet. We decided we would get our Pokémon on Monday at 5:00 P.M
