Comics mess

Gambit was sitting on a couch reading a comic book. Footsteps were heard in the hall and Wolvie appeared, crossing the living room at a slow speed periodically changing into trot. Gambit shrugged and turned over the page. Suddenly the silence in the mansion was broken by screams coming from the garden. The window opened and Rogue flew into the room, crashed in Gambit and tried to hide behind him. Just in a second, a waterfall streamed through the window. It created a huge puddle and made poor Gambit and his comics quite wet. Rogue winked at him slyly and tried to disappear, but Storm dashed into. Rogue screeched and they both ran into the hall. Gambit made an angry face, shook the water off his comic book and continued reading. Wolvie, at the same speed, wandered from the hall to the kitchen, causing a little amazement for Gambit.
Downcast Bobby came out of the kitchen and plumped down on the couch near Remy, who looked askance at him and turned over the page. Bobby hesitated a little and asked: "Have you seen Ms. Frost lately?" Gambit was fool enough to react by shaking his head slightly and in the next hour or so was condemned to listening to Bobby's whining about his rotten personal life. During this period of time, Wolvie crossed the living-room twice. Comic- reading was quite difficult with such noisy background, so Gambit was ready to leave, but Jono came and took Bobby away.
The puddle near the window became much smaller. It seemed that the mansion finally became quiet and Gambit eagerly absorbed into his comics, but. A loud noise came from the hall, and Jubilee on her skateboard appeared. "Ah! New comics! Wanna-wanna-wanna!" Wolvie made his usual way through the room. "What's he doin`?" - Gambit wondered, hoping for Jubilee's help, but she noticed Hank pouring milk in the kitchen and ran to him. Remy couldn't hear their talk, but soon enough Hank came into the room, sat himself comfortably in the arm-chair, produced a laptop and started typing noisily. Gambit stood up to leave when Wolvie appeared again. Remy grabbed his shoulder and asked: "Whatcha doin`?" Wolvie stared at him darkly, snarled: "Wandering round the house, bub. You mind?" - and headed towards the kitchen. Gambit shrugged and went to his room to finish reading, but ran into Rogue, who made eyes at him and asked to go out. Gambit sighed, gave his beloved comics to Jubilee skating by (she was so happy that smashed into the wall) and went with Rogue.
