Words are a heavy thing...they weigh you down. If birds talked, they couldn't fly. -Sy Rosen and Christian Williams

Naruto was always told he was a monster or the class clown. He was told he talked too much about a hundred more times then he could keep count of. He was also told that the loud mouth is usually the one who goes down first in a fight. Naruto knew this to be true, but the losing part, he would have none of it.

He knew he could get their attention if he ran his mouth. And it helped himself when he could talk. The more someone told him something could not be done, the more it made Naruto want to do it. If someone truly wanted something and went for it, he believed there was no way they could come short of the goal. Naruto kept telling himself that.

When Naruto came in contact with the enemy he would make sure to put them in their place. First, with words. He would yell, and shout, almost burst his vocal cords just to see if he could reason with them. Inwardly we would also tell himself that he could change this persons views of the world no matter what it took. Second, came the fighting. Naruto would pound his fist into their skulls if that helped that message get through to their brain better. But he also wanted it to reach their heart, and that would take his own heart. Naruto would pour what ever feelings he could into his words just so they would reach that persons heart, and more often then not they did.

Anyone who noticed would call it a gift and he would shrug it off as his own belief in his words. When someone told him he was a loud mouth Naruto would give them the biggest grin his face could hold.

Naruto may have been the first to go down during a fight with fists, but when it came to words, he was the last one standing with a new friend.
