Vivan wong, fresh off her loss to Rebecca and Yugi respectively, stormed through Kaiba land. Losing to Yugi was one thing, he was the king of games after all. How she could lose to that brat Rebecca though she had no idea, but she was determined to go to the automated duel arena, and beat that digital dummy (actual fanfic dialogue) on its highest level. When she got there though, she was surprised to see Rebecca practicing also, not only that but the place was completely deserted, save for her and her rival. Vivian suddenly grew a wicked grin, "Hey Bec." "What do you want viv?" "Revenge", she simply said as she quickly jumped on the platform that Rebecca was on. You humiliated me you little brat, and now it's time to make you pay", Vivian snarled, backing Rebecca to the edge of the platform. Vivan used her left heel to ever so slightly trip Rebecca so she fell to the ground hard. In no time, Vivian stood menacingly over the child, whose eyes began to water with fearful tears. "I'm gonna enjoy this", the older woman said cracking her knuckles. Rebecca did what any child would do she cried for help, "GRANDPA", she wailed as tears stained her face. Vivian simply put a finger on Rebecca's lips and whispered, "you make a sound, I'll break everyone of your fingers, understood?", Rebecca franticly nodded. "Good girl" "Let's get to work shall we?"
Tea Gardner had been having a wonderful time with Yugi, riding roller coasters, practicing dueling, and even sharing a kiss or two. Rebecca had been tagging along, because Tea had been charged with watching her, while Professor Hawkins was with Solomon who had thrown his back out. Yugi had promised Rebecca a duel later when the tournament was over, so she had asked Tea if it was ok for her to go to dueling arena to train. Tea happily agreed as long as she wasn't to long. She thought it was incredibly cute what she'd do for "her Yugi." After awhile though Tea started to get a little worried, sure it could have just been a longer duel than she was expecting, but she wanted to check anyway, telling Yugi that she would be right back she walked off to the arena. When she got there, she didn't hear the cockiness of a genius claiming victory, but instead the frightened cries of a little girl begging for mercy. "S s stop p p please." "You deserve this Rebecca, all of it. Fast as lightning, Tea ripped open the door, but nothing could have prepared her for what she saw. There in a bloody, crying heap on the floor was Rebecca, fresh brushes and welts covering her small body, at that moment Tea had only one thought, whoever did this is dead." Her eyes were torn from the little girl by the mocking laughter that almost seemed to almost seemed to be the laughter of a demon, who she saw as Vivian Wong. Tea took all this in in the span of a second, and it only took a millisecond of that time for her to knock Vivan to the floor with the strength of a raging bull, which knocked her out. As Tea ran to the still crying child cuddling her close and rocking her. Rebecca whispered the one thing that completely shattered Tea's heart, "I deserved this." it took all of Tea's willpower to stop herself from crying, "Shhhhh, no baby, shhhhhh you didn't do anything wrong", she cooed, as she cuddled the wounded angel closer. "Mommy, I was so scared"' Rebecca whimpered burying herself deeper in Tea's chest. That one word caused Tea's heart to simultaneously flip, burst with fear, and pound against her chest, but eventually it slowed leaving behind an unmatched joy. With a sweet motherly smile Tea cooed, "shhh my love, mommy's here.
