Disclaimer: If I owned Detective Conan or DNAngel I wouldn't be looking for a part-time job right now.

"Ahou, hold still!"

Kazuha was forced to hault all forward motion as Heiji grabbed her head.

"Heiji, you ahou, what the hell are you doing?"

"You're hair ribbon is loose, Ahou."

Kazuha stood hunched over painfully as she waited impatently for Heiji to tie her ribbon for her. He signaled that he was done with a swat to her head, taking her school bag from her.

Kazuha frowned at him as he tied a ribbon to her bag before tossing it to her. She stumbled to the ground under the weight of the math, science, and history textbooks thrown at her at the high velocity.

"There's your present, Happy White Day, Ahou!" He said with a wave.

Kazuha blinked in confusion as she stared at her bag.

That ribbon looked…familiar…

"Heiji, You Ahou! I already have a hair ribbon like this one!"

Kazuha smirked as Heiji lost his footing for a moment, before heading to class.

She sat down at her seat, glaring at the ribbon on the bag. Leave it to that ahou to buy a hair ribbon she already owned.

"Hey, girl! Happy White Day!"

"Oh, hey Mako, you too."

"Uh-oh, I know that look. What did Heiji do this time?"

Kazuha sighed. "That ahou. He gave me a hair ribbon I already had."

Mako sighed as she leaned against a nearby desk, taking Kazuha's bag to study the ribbon. "Sorry, but at least it's a cute ribbon! Hey, speaking of ribbons have you ever read DNAngel?"

Kazuha shook her head. "Can't say I have."

"Well, in one of the chapters, it's White Day and they had a legend that if a girl recieves a white ribbon from the guy she likes and he ties it for her their love will last forever!"

"Aw, that's so sweet! Too bad Heiji doesn't think that way. I mean he gives me a ribbon that looks just like the one I'm wearing now!"

Wearing…now?

"Mako, can I see your compact?"

Mako shrugged handing Kazuha a small mirror.

Kazuha twisted her head, eyes fixcated in the on the mirror.

Her eyes widened as she wheeled to stare at Heiji.

Heiji looked up from the manga he was reading. "What are you staring at, Ahou?"

Kazuha blushed as she looked away. "Nothing!" She looked at him out of the corner of her eye. "Thank you."

Heiji blinked, turning back to the third volume of DNAngel. "You're welcome."

Kazuha turned back to Mako with a grin.

Holding her hair back quite innocently, was a white ribbon.

You know this started out as Ran and Shinichi? Then Heiji snatched the ribbon out of my hand and gave to Kazuha.

Oh, and the third volume of DNAngel is the St. White's Day legend.

See you soon.
